Nuestro planeta tierra, un enorme hogar para tantos, lleno de rincones mágicos, como es el caso de San Pedro del Río en el estado Táchira Venezuela, este estado cuenta con una gran cantidad de efluentes de agua; y dentro de estas maravillas esta pozo azul, un lugar hermosisimo, lleno de verdes y azules que relajan la vista, un agua refrescante y cristalina rodeada de un sistema de rocas que le hace ver espectacular, pequeñas cascadas y distintos pozos se pueden ver en el camino, ya el que decidas bañarte sera tu decisión.
Our planet earth, a huge home for so many, full of magical corners, as is the case of San Pedro del Rio in the state of Tachira Venezuela, this state has a lot of water effluents, and within these wonders is pozo azul, a beautiful place, full of green and blue that relax the view, a refreshing and crystal clear water surrounded by a system of rocks that makes it look spectacular, small waterfalls and various wells can be seen on the road, and the one you decide to bathe will be your decision.
La ubicación exacta de este paraíso es entre el cerro Morrachón y los Palmares, un área bastante real de este estado, y aquellos que le temen al agua fría hay una sorpresa, un espectacular pozo de aguas termales, definitivamente la naturaleza es mejor que un spa, es única, maravillosa y debemos ser participes de su cuidado. Pozo azul tiene unos paisajes que te dejan con la boca abierta la verdad, disfrute mucho el recorrido (aunque ahorita les cuento algo), el lugar cuenta con 40 pozos algunos con hasta 3 metros de profundidad, así que es bueno que vayan con guías o con alguien que conozca la zona, utilizan mucho esta zona para el excursionismo y algunos deportes de aventura como el rápel, llegar no es tan complicado pero son senderos que alguien debe conocer muy bien.
The exact location of this paradise is between the Morrachón hill and the Palmares, a very real area of this state, and for those who are afraid of cold water there is a surprise, a spectacular hot springs well, definitely nature is better than a spa, it is unique, wonderful and we must participate in its care. Pozo Azul has landscapes that leave you with your mouth open, I really enjoyed the tour (although I'll tell you something now), the place has 40 wells, some up to 3 metres deep, so it is good to go with guides or someone who knows the area, they use this area a lot for hiking and some adventure sports such as abseiling, getting there is not so complicated but they are trails that someone must know very well.
Primero se llega al pueblo principal que es San Pedro del río, es muy bonito y pintoresco, con casas coloniales y personas muy amables, creo que probablemente muchos te pueden guiar hacia este lugar llamado pozo azul, aunque hay guías turísticos más especializados que van con bastantes personas y realizan diferentes actividades en el lugar, yo me aventure con unos amigos que ya habían ido un par de veces antes.
First you get to the main town which is San Pedro del Rio, it is very pretty and picturesque, with colonial houses and very friendly people, I think probably many people can guide you to this place called pozo azul, although there are more specialised tour guides that go with many people and do different activities in the place, I ventured with some friends who had already been there a couple of times before.
Cuando comienzas a pasar por los senderos sientes un poco de temor pues algunos tienen mucha vegetación que incluso te cubre (soy bajita), pero poco a poco vas caminando y bajando más y descubres este maravilloso lugar lleno de pozos azules como su nombre lo dice, de verdad quería lanzarme a todos cuando llegue, tienen una belleza indescriptible a menos que estés en ese sitio lo entenderías, el lugar tiene el poder de relajarte infinitamente, con una energía increíble y llena de paz.
When you start to walk through the trails you feel a bit scared because some of them have a lot of vegetation that even covers you (I am short), but little by little you walk and go down more and you discover this wonderful place full of blue wells as its name says, I really wanted to throw myself into all of them when I arrived, they have an indescribable beauty unless you are in that place you would understand it, the place has the power to relax you infinitely, with an incredible energy and full of peace.
Deja limpia la zona que visites
Creo que esto es primordial para que este sitio natural y turístico se mantenga tal y como esta, no hay nada más desagradable que ir a un lugar y conseguir restos de basura, comida, etc. La cultura juega un papel primordial aquí y aportar conciencia de protección y cuidado al medio ambiente es esencial para que sitos naturales pueda seguir siendo visitador por muchas personas más. Aquí van muchas personas semanalmente y debo decir que estaba bastante limpio, me gusto y quisiera que siempre se mantuviera de esta manera; además de que debemos proteger el efluente de agua para que siempre podamos darnos un delicioso baño cuando lo visitemos.

I think this is essential for this natural and touristic site to remain as it is, there is nothing more unpleasant than going to a place and getting rubbish, food, etc. Culture plays an important role here and bringing awareness of protection and care for the environment is essential so that natural sites can continue to be visited by many more people. Many people go here every week and I must say that it was quite clean, I liked it and I would like it to always stay this way; besides we must protect the water effluent so that we can always have a nice bath when we visit it.

Eso es lo que se hace en este lugar, además de que puedes llevar tu mascota, nosotros llevamos el perro de una amiga un labrador que ama el agua, imaginen cuanto disfruto este paseo, saltaba en todos los pozos, quedo empapado y feliz; un paseo de verdad que quisiera repetir algún día.
Connecting with nature
That's what you do in this place, plus you can take your pet, we took a friend's dog, a Labrador who loves water, imagine how much he enjoyed this walk, he jumped in all the wells, he was soaked and happy; a real walk that I would like to repeat one day.
Tengan precaución
Esto era lo que les quería contar, resulta que mis amigos si conocían el camino y la idea era regresar por el mismo, pero se nos ocurrió la fantástica idea de recorrer otro camino para ver a donde llegaba y nos perdimos, dimos vueltas por horas, pasamos senderos de noche, finalmente llegamos a unas fincas que nos mostraron el camino hacia la carretera, llegamos al pueblo casi a la media noche, de verdad nunca me había asustado tanto, se me vino a la mente todos los programas de supervivencia que he visto, y no me agradaba la idea de dormir mojada en una montaña fría a la intemperie, donde seguro habían animales y hasta personas malas, pues esa zona colinda un poco con Colombia y se dice que hay guerrilla y paramilitares, de verdad estaba muy asustada, siempre tomen el camino conocido a nos ser que vayan con un guía. This is what I wanted to tell you, it turns out that my friends did know the road and the idea was to go back the same way, but we came up with the fantastic idea of going another way to see where it went and we got lost, we went around for hours, we went through trails at night, finally we arrived at some farms that showed us the way to the road, we arrived at the town almost at midnight, I had never really been so scared, all the survival programmes I have seen came to my mind, and I didn't like the idea of sleeping wet on a cold mountain in the open, where there were probably animals and even bad people, because that area borders Colombia and it is said that there are guerrillas and paramilitaries, I was really scared, always take the known path unless you go with a guide.
