Hello Hive Fam,
I'm starting my week today after a long weekend.
I took Monday off as it was my birthday and took a drive to Maracas beach (Trinidad) with my wife.
Although it rained on and off it was a relaxing experience. Got a little sunburnt because we forgot to pack sunblock. Even though it was cloudy.
We swam, had a couple of beers and ate a local delicacy- bake and shrimp that is a fried bread with shrimp in it and some pickled cucumbers salad and pineapple.
The drive was good as the roads were not busy being a weekday.
Being on the beach was really de-stressing and therapeutic.
Oh, and I practiced some of my breakdancing moves on the sand.
I’ve not been as active with my dancing recently as work and family life keeps me busy.
Dancing is the second thing apart from the outdoors that relaxes my mind.
I feel I need to be doing a lot more of it this year.
