How are you? I hope you're doing well and that everything is fine with you. Today, I want to share my experience at DCC Café in Bogo City.
This was my first time visiting the café, and for a while, I had been curious about what they offered. The name of the restaurant caught my attention because it had the word pastries, which stuck in my mind. One day, while scrolling online, I saw some people enjoying food at this café. Even though I didn’t know them personally, I decided to check it out without hesitation. Before heading there, I asked a colleague if the food was any good, and shee encouraged me to try it.
It was around lunchtime, so I took the opportunity to visit DCC Café. Some of you might wonder, “Why does a place called DCC Café sell food?” I had the same question! But upon arriving, I confirmed they had rice bowls, breakfast options, pasta, and more.
Before I even entered, I saw their food menu displayed outside, which reassured me they served proper meals. I also took a picture of their tarpaulin signage for reference.
The Café Atmosphere
Once I entered, I noticed there were many customers inside. My initial thought was that there might be a celebration going on. Most of the people there were students. It surprised me to see that the café had become a popular hangout spot for students.
Finding a seat was a bit of a challenge since almost all the tables were occupied. Fortunately, there was a table with just a bag on it. I asked the staff if it was available, and they kindly guided me to that table, moving the bag to the side.
I came alone this time because I wanted to treat myself and enjoy some “me time.” There are moments when you just want to spend time by yourself, reflect, and recharge. This was one of those times for me.
Ordering and Menu
I noticed they offered various dishes and even Mr. Potato fries in different sizes—jumbo, large, and trio.
Payment was also convenient since they accepted GCash, allowing you to scan the QR code for quick transactions.
The café also exuded a festive vibe with its Christmas decorations. The series lights added charm to the ambiance, creating a cozy and cheerful atmosphere.
Décor and Interior
The interior design was aesthetically pleasing. The ceiling was particularly eye-catching, with a black color that complemented the overall look. On the walls, there were leafy decorations—probably made of artificial materials—that added a fresh and lively vibe.
The décor also included wooden pieces with inspirational quotes like “Coffee and friends make the perfect blend,” which made the space feel warm and inviting.
The Food
After ordering, my food arrived within 10 minutes, which was impressive. Since I was undecided about what to get, I asked the staff for their best seller, and they recommended the Chicken Teriyaki Shots with a drink. It turned out to be the perfect choice for me.
The plating was beautiful, with leafy greens and a flavorful sauce. The chicken was crunchy and delicious, and the Blue Lemonade paired with it was refreshingly sweet—much better than other blue lemonades I’ve tried before.
Extras
The café also had a mirror near the comfort room, making it a great spot for mirror shots. I took a few photos, and even though the lighting was against me, the background was stunning, and the pictures turned out great.
