Morning walks are always special and specially when you are in Himalayas. Today's blog is about the beautiful landscape that completely stole my heart and about a magical morning from the top of Landour, Uttrakhand.

Considering the numerous benefits of the morning walk I decided to go for it, jumped out of my bed and got dressed. Wanted to see the beauty of Landor at morning that too from the top so, I decided to cover 5 kilometres long journey.

Started to walk at 7:00 a.m. when the road was completely empty and you can hear birds chirping loud and clear. I consider myself lucky for being at a place where birds are singing to awake you. During my journey I saw the lady behind the clean road, well it's always a woman behind something great.

Along with the cleanliness, the walls were also decorated with beautiful paintings. This paintings represents the rich culture and heritage of the Uttarakhand.

The Paintings

The road was full of such sculptures, you can see women playing, doing household chores in the village.

These paintings are done so beautifully that even the small details are noticeable. I loved how it glorify the simple village life.

Well the town is quite famous but you can still see the simplicity of the people living here. Here's a fresh water tap and at 7 someone is doing laundry in the open without fancy equipment or washing machine.

On my way, I also found this gate, which is quite old but I guess the owner loves plant or gardening. They have grown flowers in the plastic water bottle and they have hanged them in the gate. I found the Idea totally unique and it's lovely to see how they have done utilised the bottles. You all know how harmful plastic is, seeing the best use of plastic water bottle, made me realise that it's an individual's responsible to ensure the best use of plastic and to dispose it carefully.

Meet Gucchi

Gucchi the gadi dog followed me for a while and I realised, he wants me to pet him. I played with him for a while and gave him kisses and goodness, his coat, so smooth even smoother than my hairs.

The sun is out now so is my energy!
The each ray of sun was warning me up, giving me strength and and most importantly the vitamin D. Suddenly the morning turned magical and the town was half drenched in sunlight and it was looking surreal.

It felt so good and I realised that I have taken the right decision. I have hardly covered 3 kilometres and I can see the beautiful landscape, that's the beauty of Himalayas. You can witness it's beauty from any altitude.

The Magical Morning

Never thought the town would look this lovely, the beauty of the place got enhanced within a fraction of second and the sky turned more blue. Luckily it was not cloudy, the clear sky helped me to see such beautiful landscape.

The more altitude you reach the more beautiful it become

It was around 8:30 in the morning and I was feeling hungry as I didn't had anything in the morning so I was looking for a cafe or a restaurant. So I kept walking and walking and unknowingly reached at a spot for where the whole town can be seen.

In search of a good food for the body I found fuel for my soul! I never witnessed such amazing view of the Himalayas, that too from the busiest town. It was hard for me to believe my eyes, it was surreal.

All random plans, all accidental things turns out beautiful at the end, that's why you should never take decision based on the limited information you have, allow yourself to grow and explore as much as you can, I promise you'll enjoy it.

The Dolma's cafe

The second I lay my eyes on this cafe, I instantly decided to go inside. The cafe was so vibrant and lovely. I architecture was quite unique and impressive. It felt like I'm in Japan or somewhere else, but definitely not India. It was so beautiful.

Here's what I ordered, the gaint Indian thali. It comes with biryani, paneer, daal makhani, raita, salad, kadi, mix vegetable, kofta, matar paneer and gulab jamun. The thali shows how hungry I was. I loved the food, the place and that's how this morning turned magical.
