Hiking And Exploring The Unnamed Areas Above Jubbal Valley Where Water Is Stored And Distributed To Villagers

in Worldmappin2 months ago (edited)

Hello beautiful people out there!

Sometimes you set your destination and somehow if you don't know the direction you get lost, but it's far better to not set destination and wonder freely, you never get lost, even you find new places which ultimately becomes your destination

My today's walk resembles with this. As I'm aware about most of the area in my village, I wanted to go somewhere that I never explored before so without thinking much, I just stepped out of my house at Jubbal Himachal Pradesh, India and wondered aimlessly.

I had one thing in my mind, I knew there's a newly created water tank above my village, I wanted to go there but I was unaware of the trek. I kept walking uphill and then I reached near road fully covered in dust but this is where the actual adventure begins.

To create a new road that too in the Himalayas in not an easy task, firstly you have to cut the trees, and then the rock and if somehow this has damaged the nearby rocks then you have to face landslide. Constitution of road here takes upto years depending upon the area, rock and the forest cover.

Proudly I can say that my villagers have succeeded in it without any harm to animals and mankind. Curiously I kept walking, and I noticed that the path has taken a rough turn, now I have to walk on rocks and you know if you slide a little on these rocks you will keep rolling, there is no stop until you reach a flat surface. I carefully watched my steps and slowly reached the top.

Walking is a best form of meditation to me, I have developed this habit over past couple of months and I really glad to see the benefits. I use to think that I'll get tired after Walking but surprisingly I found that walking for an hour kept me more energetic through the day. Since then I walk everyday. You should give it a try!

Within no time I have covered 2 kilometres and on my way uphill I found the water tank.

The Water Tank

I'm quite interested to tell you how does it work. Firstly source of water is found, here groundwater is stored which is extracted through borehole. Then it's channeled to a tank where treatments such as filtration and sedimentation ate done. Then sorted at storage tank and distributed through pipes and pump, interesting right?

More the tank is situated at such a beautiful spot which offers majestic view of the valley. when you are out in Himalayas everything is magical. Here I have taken pictures from my phone samsung galaxy S21ultra for your better understanding of water tank, it's structure and form. Wondering aimlessly is not a bad idea, not at all it takes you somewhere and it becomes your destination. I enjoyed the whole journey like I always do. Life is enjoy.
Hope you find it informative.
