While I was travelling through the roads of Shimla in Himachal Pradesh I found a spot above the hill. From far, it seemed so beautiful it suddenly caught my attention and I wanted to explore more about it. So without thinking much I decided to go there and explore the area and to see the view from the top.
I was on a bike with my friend,so first we parked bike at a very safe place and started to hike towards the hill. There is no point of exploring the area on a vehicle when can walk up there.
It was around three in the noon, the sun was still shining brigher and the cold breeze was balancing all the heat. One amazing thing that you will notice when you travel in Himachal is the area around, so calm so peaceful, people are busy doing their own work and the hills and the mountains are majestic. Without any voice any disturbance, the whole area seem so calm and peaceful. Moreover the people of Himachal are good too.
The unplanned hikes are the best, when you don't know what will come in front of you the excitement of exploring the area is on another level. It gives you satisfaction and brings joy.
When we first started to hike above the mountain retard it's just few kilometres away but while executing our plan we realise it's far far away. We were already tired as we went to the market during afternoon, and now we are here doing random things.
Literally there was no one there, everything around was going. The forest around was whispering the stories of wind and the rock here belongs to the ancient time holding all the secrets in itself.
The whole area was covered with huge trees and walking their fell like entering into a deep forest. The freshness of air and the wild flower fragrance was in the Hike even more amazing.
The huge trees are deodar trees and rhododendron trees and the whole area was covered with lush green grass and bushes which are now yellow in colour cause of the winter season. Area has received snowfall if few months ago and notes all gone cause of the good sunlight and warmer temperature during the day.
Soon after working for an hour and half we covered 5 kilometres and reached a spot from the whole valley can be seen. It has an open ground in between and from everywhere it was covered with huge trees. It's a best place for family outing and for someone who wants to sit peacefully in the lap of nature.
I wonder how beautiful it will look when the whole area is covered with lush green grass. Even imagining this gives me goosebumps. Here we spend some quality time and took some rest. I have taken all this pictures with my phone and edited them in lightroom.
