Trek To The Hill Top Church Which Offers Mesmerizing View Of The Himalayas.

There are some memories so vivid, that you want to live them again and again. Recently I went to a church at Mussoorie but unfortunately it was close.

Sad right? Absolutely not!
As you may have heard " Enjoy the journey more than your destination". I live by it
The journey was absolutely amazing with the view that the trek offered and the morning sun was shining brigher then ever.

Let me tell you how I reached here. This morning I decided to visit church at Mussoorie, India but I had two options, either to walk or take a cab. Well I decided to walk as I already knew that I won't enjoy the view of Himalayas from cab.

The Road

The road leading to church was quite interesting, it has deep curves and was steeve. I have never walked on such curvy road before.

Walking here was the real deal. I was running out of breath and felt like I have reached my grandmother's age. But the dopamine hit was dope, loved it. I was never into walking earlier but I realised how much it helps to clear your mind, your mental health improves as well as physical health.

The road was completely empty and for a second I thought maybe I'm on a wrong trek but that was not true. The sun was bright providing the warmth required to survive the chill morning weather of Mussoorie. Moreover I was curious to know about the quality of air at Mussoorie so I did a quick AQI check and I was amazed to figure out as it was below 50 that represents good air quality. Mostly in cities it's above 200 such as in Delhi, India it's 257. Which affect the entire population, it's totally hazardous.

Blessed are those who belongs to the hills, everything is fresh and pure. Well, It felt so good to be here, have a look at these trees. These are deodar trees, they are evergreen.

The highlight of the journey along with the beautiful landscape. The dragon art on it is quite interesting and unique. This is the first vehicle I saw here at Mussoorie with art on it, maybe it's for school kids.

Houses on hill top

Here are some of the house that were on the hill top. Imagine the life of people living here, well they are lucky. I have taken these pictures from my phone samsung galaxy S21 ultra.

The roof of these houses are made in this way so that the snow doesn't get stuck at the top. Such roofs have made it easier for the snow to slide .

Finally after taking the shortcut I reached the church after two hours at the hill top and have a look at the view. Mesmerizing, isn't it?

The Blue sky
Made me high
And the wind
Cleaned my soul
Loved the nature
The mother of all

After enjoying the view and capturing it forever in my memories I reached the St. Paul Church. It's an Anglican Church built in 1839. Well I was lucky enough to get inside but I have enjoyed everything I can while reaching here. Here are some of the pictures of the church I have taken.

I couldn't get inside as I was closed due to some reasons, but I'll visit the church soon. Moreover, the church was situated on the top of the mussoorie making it famous tourist attractions. Like me there were few people who wanted to get inside but couldn't.
