In the last blog I have shared some glimpses of short hike uphill towards a beautiful spot at the mountain of Kotkhai in Shimla Himachal Pradesh. In this blog I will share more about the trip. The place is equivalent to heaven as its isolated from the rest of the world and is at the top of hill engulfed with huge trees.
In the picture above you can see the Himalayan ranges and the clear blue sky and let me tell you the pollution in this place is nearly zero. People here are very careful about such issues and they try their best to minimize those activities which cause harm do the environment. In Himachal there are lots of such offbeat places where you can go all by yourself and enjoy to the police. Just like this, I randomly discovered it and explode it. For those who seek motivation from the nature and those who are into art and meditation it's a perfect spot with great sunlight pure air and wild flora and fauna.
Are you people familiar with aroma therapy? It's a therapy that uses natural plant extract which includes essential oil to promote your good mental health. This had to be helps in stress reduction and enhance your mood and it also improve your sleep. It is also believed that it helps to release the pain. You are someone who is into aromatherapy and no plants then this place is no less than heaven. Even if you are someone like me who doesn't know much about plants still you are more than lift up when you visit this place.
I believe nature is a precious gift best owned upon humanity and Himachal can be considered as a paradise of nature for nature lovers. Cause of the divers climate and geography there are different variety of trees here.
Along with and enhancing the natural beauty these trees also maintain the biological balance and support whildlife. Major trees of this area are Deodar trees.
Deodar trees I'd also known as Tree of God's and our famous for their durable Timber. In a major you will see lots of homes in religious and made up of wood of this tree cause they are from during winters. I also noticed some Pine trees here and they are known for their needle like leaves, such leaves help to lower the transportation rate during summers so that they can flourish well. As I have mentioned in lots of blogs now you guys must be familiar that the agriculture is main business and occupation of people living here and there are lots of fruit trees here mostly apple, pear and apricot.
Walking between the forest on a sunny day during winter it's itself a privilege and while roaming around we saw a huge hole in the ground and so lots of garbage dumped there. Now I know the places already famous among locales here and you can see how beautiful they have collected all the disposables in one place and I'm sure once it get completely filled they will burn it all. This is an agricultural practice average people that are following from decades to burn the waste and disposables.
But still blastic is a problem, do you know how much time a plastic bottle take to get the compost completely? It takes almost 450 years and some time more. Well, the one serious issue is harmful effect of plastic on wildlife. Animal do mistake plastic with food and it ultimately leads to injection and ultimately some uncurable disease. You should reduce the usage of plastic and recycle it as much as possible.
After exploding the area we started to move downwards toward the road, it's a newly constructed road and maybe it leads to a village nearby. Development is important but it does lead to deforestation and cause harm to wildlife, I would like to know more about your thoughts about this so comment below and let me know about it.
Moreover, it was a beautiful hike and this road you can easily smell the wildflowers and can also hear different sounds of animals and bird.
