GRANADA
La Gran Sultana is the tourist city par excellence of Nicaragua. You can walk and enjoy its beautiful colonial architecture. It is the oldest city in the American continent. On Calle La Calzada you will find everything, bars and restaurants, companies that organize tours of the city and its surroundings, as well as souvenir shops.
From here you can decide whether to visit its imposing Mombacho volcano or the more than 360 islets, of volcanic origin, in Lake Cocibolca, the largest in Central America. Before leaving this beautiful city you cannot forget to delight yourself with a tasty vigorous.
SAN JUAN DEL SUR
The favorite beach of Nicaraguans and the one that no foreign tourist can avoid visiting. San Juan del Sur is a true paradise of sun and beach located just 140 kilometers from Managua, with white sand and a tropical touch that gives tourists a paradisiacal stay. In the surroundings there are earth walls that offer the opportunity to climb them and appreciate a panoramic view from above.
This old fishing village has become one of the most important tourist destinations in the country, famous for its entertainment, nightlife and paradisiacal beach settings on the Pacific Ocean coast.

MASAYA
Its main tourist attractions are the old Fortress of El Coyotepe, on top of a hill; the Craft Market; the Malecón, from where you can see the Masaya lagoon, the second largest in the country, and a beautiful view of the Masaya Volcano National Park.
This small city, just 30 minutes south of the capital, is the Cradle of Nicaraguan Folklore. It is rich in cultural expressions and traditions, and is a town of industrious craftsmen.
Ometepe Island
It is the largest island in the world located in a lake. Declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. It is the island of the two volcanoes; the Concepción and the Maderas. In this "Oasis of Peace" you can enjoy its beaches with waves and its numerous nature reserves.
The island, of 267 square kilometers and with a population of just under 30,000 people, receives more than 40,000 visitors a year.
You can visit, on the same day, the picturesque towns of Moyogalpa and Altagracia. It is mandatory to visit the Charco Verde Nature Reserve, a natural paradise full of incredible legends, and Punta Jesús María, a natural path in the middle of the lake that extends up to 1 kilometer.
Solentiname Archipelago
This archipelago is made up of a set of 36 islands located in Lake Cocibolca, which are characterized by their exuberant natural settings, exotic species of birds, beaches with waves and totally virgin and uninhabited corners.
The Mancarrón, San Fernando and La Venada islands are the only inhabited ones. Here the communities of painters stand out, who have developed their own unique style known as Primitivists of Solentiname.
The archipelago was the site of a pre-Columbian culture from which a large number of petroglyphs can still be seen, with figures of birds, monkeys or people. Numerous pre-Columbian archaeological pieces have been found on the islands and are exhibited in museums, in Mancarrón and San Fernando.
Visitors can learn how to make primitive crafts, or they can rent kayaks to enjoy the waters of the lake.
