I visited Banyan Spring Resort in Tabogon and it was a wonderful experience, probably the most relaxing experience I have had. This site is a hidden gem for people who are looking to unplug from the wild world in the city and learn about nature. Let me share my experience with you.
The moment I reached the destination, it was literally everywhere, the plants and the landscaping, all so rich and green. The trees that bordered the site were tall and thick resulting in shade and a cooling, fresh breeze. The sound of birds and running water immediately gave me a sense of peace. It was like stepping into a quiet paradise far from the noise of the city.
One of the main attractions for me to visit Banyan Spring Resort was the famous spring pools. Upon catching sight of them, the clear water completely captures my eyes. The clearness was such that I could see the bottom of the pools. This presented to me the feeling that nature worked its magic here.
The pools are secured by rock and mini waterfalls. Lying in by the waterfalls and hearing the sounds of the water was very relaxing. I sat there for hours, just lying at the edge, letting the water come up to my toes, and watching the peace. The spring is also safe for swimming, and the water isn’t too deep in some areas, which makes it perfect for families and kids.
One thing I loved about Banyan Spring Resort is how close you feel to nature. There are no loud machines or distractions here. Instead, you’re surrounded by trees, flowers, and natural pools. Shade under the trees is cooling, so even on a hot day it is not extremely hot. It is a remarkably relaxing environment from which it is possible to retreat.
The resort also includes, for instance, small cottage and seating areas which are at disposal to be used for casual relaxation or eating. I ate what I brought myself as it is permitted, and I had a light picnic with my partner. We told stories, laughed, and simply enjoyed being in this scenic spot. Staff were friendly and supportive, ensuring we had everything that we required.
I suppose what I liked best about this journey was that it allowed me to be in touch with nature. Banyan Spring Resort taught me that there is a lot of beauty to be found in just taking a step back and noticing the little things that make up life each day. Watching the water flow, feeling the cool breeze, and hearing the sounds of nature made me feel happy and refreshed.
Banyan Spring Resort is ideal for people who like swimming, lounging around or just getting in the nature. There are few people and the place is calm and serene. It's an inexpensive entrance fee, so it is an excellent choice for budget travellers.
The road to the resort is easy to follow, and it’s located in Tabogon, a small and quiet town. I recommend visiting this place if you’re in Cebu and looking for something different from the usual beaches and tourist spots. At Banyan Spring Resort an individual and relaxing activity can be engaged for people looking for a break.
My visit to Banyan Spring Resort was a pleasant full day. I walked away from the scene relaxed and grateful to have been able to appreciate the natural world's wonders. Just come to this awesome resort whenever you get the chance to go to Tabogon. Believe me, you'll leave with a calm heart and joyful moments.

I still remember Banyan Spring's entrance fee before it's development was only 10 pesos. I am happy you're able to visit one of the beautiful tourist spots in TABOGON.
