Another year has been unlocked and it's time for a new beginning for a new year. Speaking of "new", I and my husband aim to have a healthy and stern lifestyle this year as well as to save money, most especially in travel, it is part of our plans as it has a huge impact as a human being. In addition, travel motivates us to continue what we have started.
So, we started our year with a date with nature with the most anticipated travel I have ever dreamed, none other than, the Marmol Cliff!!!
Together with my hike buddies, we made sure to realize this wandering with nature to start off the year. Hence, we agreed to this wonderful place of Tuburan, Cebu as Mam Smile already come here. She was the one who solely guided us to this amazing travel.
Sooo... Come and let's wander together as we unveil the beauty of this one-of-a-kind cliff, the Marmol Cliff!
We embarked as early as possible before the sun came, however, due to the availability of our student driver, we had to wait for them for an hour. I was riding with my husband, Mam Marfe, and Ixie to their motorcycle, Mam Smile, and Mam Lindsey to our student drivers.
It was a lovely day to travel. As we entered the way going to the cliff. Tall mahogany and coconut trees shed our way.
When I first encountered the river, I got excited as well as my husband. Since we had to cross the river, he became more excited and delighted as the motorbike took a trail to the river. I can feel his happiness through making motions to the water. Since our motorbike is higher than the others, our shoes were dry along the way but I'm terribly sorry for the drivers as they found themselves wet. However, the trail would never be exciting and complete without getting wet from it. I get thrilled every time we cross the river, by looking the water splash would be more awesome!
As we continued, I saw four kids happily swimming in the river. They teased each other, just as I remembered my younger years.
The beauty of nature would never out of style. The vast vegetation of greens and mountain ranges perfectly paired with this trip. The big rocks were the hint that we were almost to our destination.
The fine sand in every step of our way was piling accordingly. I bet the sand and gravel in this area were the source of every hardware in this place. I didn't expect that there would be some houses as we went along because it was too far already. But to our surprise, many of the residents were there, and it was just their normal path. Every day is a challenge yet they don't have a choice.
Behold as I unleash the beauty of this cliff...
The spectacular view of the cliff made me even more fall in love with nature🥰.
The shape of its rock, its natural beauty, and every angle seem to its right perspective. The oozing WOW that I can't explain how I felt that day when I first encountered this wonderful view.
I was well and dry after the ordeal yet I had to dip into the water to how does it felt. Also, one can't go home without wet shoes and pants.
Remarkably stunning shape of rocks on the cliff
Rocks are potentially claiming its cliff. The rock formations forms a cliff making this place even more famous to many. As I touched it, its texture was different from any other rock. It's smooth, and rigid, and definitely my first time witnessing this kind of rock. They even made this cliff a way for the residents
Raft, raft baby!
There's an available bamboo raft on its actual cliff with 10 pesos fare, so we tried it. There were unlimited shots during this standing on the raft and so we added our fee to him. It was an incredible experience after all.
During this march on the river were learning as we interviewed the raft owner as we pushed through to another part of the cliff. The center part of the river which is similar center part of the cliff was extremely deep as it embodied the cliff below, the same as above. Mind-blowing huh?
This was definitely one of the best experience I ever had this new year. The bond together with my hike buddies became stronger and together with my loving husband for supporting my passion of hiking, my newly found passion when I entered my 30s.
That's all for today Hivers. Thank you for reading my Marmol Cliff adventure, hope you like it. Keep safe and God bless everyone.
