This is so adventurous, I experienced heavy snow this year but it's nothing compared to yours over there.
That's a very heavy snowfall and the fact that you didn't have snow chains in is interesting. The type you had on must have had very good traction for driving in snow. Do any other cars have snow chains ⛓️ on?
That cyclist was having an extreme day. I wonder how he is going to be warm while sweating from the cycling. I experienced sweating in my thermal clothes in the snow over here didn't keep me warm long enough.

Yep, I think it is way more snow than you experienced there.
In Sweden people don’t drive on snow chains ⛓️ they are only allowed in emergency. Like getting yourself out of a pile of snow or slippery ice.
The tires are changed twice a year. Summer and winter tire sets. The winter once have to be for extreme snow and ice. Special symbols are on the tires. The locals up north do drive on dubs, that are winter tires with iron spikes in them. It does help a lot with traction.
We knew we would get extreme snow and ice and bought for this trip new winter tires. Sadly we couldn’t sell them with the car in Ireland… we still have no new car 😣
Hahaha I also don’t understand the cyclist. He must have had special clothing.
Have a wonderful Sunday Joe

Interesting stuff with driving in winter. I am learning. Thanks for explaining 😉
That's quite a situation about the tyres. Hopefully you should get a buyer some time or keep it for future use.
Thanks, my Sunday have been a restful one.

Thanks, happy to explain.
Don’t think we will get such a big car again. We have the tires for sale on-line, let’s hope somebody still needs some. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 other wise we will see what happens.
You are welcome. So good to hear!
