RE: Socobio: Collegiate Church of Santa Cruz de Castaneda

in Worldmappin2 years ago

Imagine that it is a millennium old, said to be soon, and it is still there, gratifying us with its beauty. It is true, unfortunately, that its original structure has been modified over the centuries and that inside, it is also overloaded with those horrible baroque altarpieces, which detract from one of its most surprising effects: the sound. These buildings were true sounding boards, so that the homilies and even the music had a special reverberation, capable of transporting the spirit to higher states. But of course, that is another of the fascinating themes that characterize these types of places. Thank you very much for your comment and best regards.
