Hello everyone! I'm glad to be back with another blog. Today I’ll share our trip to Bitoon, Dumanjug, Baybay Beach Resort. Cebu is known for its many beautiful beaches, and Baybay Beach Resort is one of the hidden gems located on the southwestern edge of Cebu, Dumanjug.
Journey On!🚙💨
While heading there, I took pictures of myself and my vintage-inspired top. Can you appreciate the beautiful pendant on my necklace? I bought it because it’s inspired by Barbie and the Diamond Castle, my favorite Barbie movie from childhood! Taking pictures during the ride is my hobby to pass the time and lessen boredom. I also love how the sunlight creates a natural filter and making me look good in photos.

As we neared our destination, I was mesmerized by the beautiful seashore view from the car window. The calming sea with its pale blue with hints of green, made me even more excited to arrive. It felt like coming home to a place I had never lived. I also was amazed by the cleanliness and peaceful ambiance which brought me a sense of nostalgia.
📍Destination Finally Reached!
As we finally arrived at Baybay Beach Resort, the calm blue sea relieved us from the tiring journey. We traveled for hours but the breathtaking view made it all worth it. I immediately started capturing the view. And I liked the bamboo railings along the paths. You can see people enjoy the place because it's perfect for unwinding and having fun with loved ones.
A Frame of Me🥰
My cousin took a picture of me with his iPhone 14 Pro Max resulting in great quality. The background shows the breathtaking beach that makes me want to return again and again. This is our second time at this beautiful and affordable beach and it's no wonder so many people visit.
I was captivated by this view so I captured it from above and zoomed in. I wonder if there are people living far away on this beach's edge then accessing it daily for free and waking up to such a captivating scene. It made me wish that someday I’ll be living in a beach house where I can enjoy life every day as a beach babe. I really love the idea of waking up to the sound of waves and the view of the sea fills me with longing and inspiration.
Frozen in Time🥶🕓
This photo was taken on my first trip to Baybay Beach with my Android phone. Thanks to my editing skills it looks like it was taken with a DSLR camera or an iPhone. I've mentioned in my other blog on this platform that I really love photography and editing pictures to achieve great quality. I blurred the background to emphasize the subject which is me, making it look like it was taken with a high-end camera. I realized that no matter what kind of camera I use, my editing skills can make any photo perfect.
I took this picture in the afternoon during my first visit to Baybay Beach. Its beauty never fades with time and the beach always stands out. But can you spot the amazing thing? There's a rainbow in the picture! It was raining that day and seeing the rainbow made me even more excited to enjoy the view. It reminded me of the cliche quote "After the rain comes the rainbow." Though a cliche but it's a beautiful reminder that even after challenges, something wonderful can happen. This moment made me appreciate the peaceful beauty of nature even more and strengthened my love for Baybay Beach.

I really love taking pictures, not only of breathtaking views but also of my lovely face and fashion style on every trip. One of these pictures shows a cottage which I blurred during editing. It's a cozy cottage that rests in open spaces and brings a relaxing atmosphere to the resort. I captured both the view and my style which adds a special touch to my travel memories and this cottage perfectly enhances the vibe of the place.
Heading Homeward 🛣️🏡
After leaving the beach, we carried memories with us. We’re tired yet fulfilled. And I couldn't resist taking another selfie again HAHAHAHA. The essence of the beach reminded us that sometimes the most meaningful journeys are those that reconnect us with our true selves.
Honestly, Baybay Beach Resort deserves attention. As soon as you arrive, you’re welcomed by the view of the blue sea and there’s also a pool if you prefer a swim. The beach setting offers a perfect escape for reflection and relaxation, providing a much-needed break from daily stress. Sometimes, a change of environment is all it takes to refresh and find clarity.
