Everything for us in Slovakia is our first time. And now it's another first for us. Last March 32, 2023 it's another exciting first visit to Bratislava, Slovakia. We will set out to explore the beauty of Slovakia's Capital City.
For my daughter Aya , it's her first time to ride the train. It's extra special to her to remember. She's so happy and always cheering like "Chooo chooo! I will ride a train." My husband already bought a ticket for us. While waiting for the train to arrive. I took photos of my daughter.

It's time to ride the train. -Choo chooo-
The train finally arrived. So our journey starts to begin. It took us two hours to travel to Bratislava. And Aya is so energetic, she keeps on talking and singing. I told her that she needs to lower her voice. And I don't like that she will disturb people taking their nap. We cannot control our kids' excitement during the trip. It's a challenge for us parents. But it is a beautiful thing that I watch her grow in every new adventure we have.
****Finally, We arrived in Slovakia's Capital.-Bratislava.***
Kids are hungry and they want to have sushi for lunch. Then we visited the Central-nákupné srdce Bratislavy. It's a shopping center in Bratislava Region.
Were strolling around searching for sushi place. Unexpected surprise an exhibition of Slovak folk costumes. Large photographs around the hallway and hungs on the wall. Slovakia’s folk costumes, or kroje, represent different regions in Slovakia. Its country's full of traditions, history and diversity that will reflect vibrant colors and details. Their costumes still remain for their cultural events that are still cherished and valued until this generation.
After checking the photos. We found our place to eat. And It's sushi time for us. It's so delicious and we love it. After our lunch, Aya is full of energy and spotted a shop. My husband told her we will buy at the end and not in the mall. Because we will go strolling around the town and he dont like to carry the box. And she insist that if she will carry it until the end of our trip. Hmmmmm, we will see and I know her, at first it's ok to carry but in the end she will ask for help. And she found her toy. She was so happy and thanked Táto for buying a toy for her. Finally Got one, she said.
Exploring Bratislava’s Old Town.
Our stomach is full and now we will filled our eyes with the captivating beauty of its Capital City. What would I expect to say about the architectural design of Europe?! It's so fascinating, stunning, elegant and a timeless beauty of its architectural design. There's history in every cobblestone and building. Bratislava Old Town captures my eyes in its vivid colors. And the sun enhances the beauty of each building.

There is a smile on my face every time I see something beautiful. Especially these simple moments. A short trip exploring the Old Town Bratislava is part of our memories. This place is an experience for us that is full of history and beauty. It's a gem. And that day it's also part of our story as a family having a trip in the beautiful Old Town.
It's worth it to walk. Slowly walking and capturing beautiful moments and places. The city will tell everything. We enjoy every step of our journey.
