WHAT IS TREE PLANTING?
Tree planting is when you put trees in the ground on purpose. People do it to help the environment, stop soil erosion, make places nicer, and absorb carbon dioxide to fight climate change. Trees give us air to breathe and foods. When we plant trees, we're helping the planet and making it better for everyone. So let's grab our shovels, dig some holes, and make our world healthy and happier!
GETTING READY
The alarm wakes me at 2 am, and I start getting ready for the day. I pack my eco bag with important stuff like water, snacks, and a T-shirt. Then I bring my camera because I want to take pictures. I forgot to bring plants HAHAHAHAH. The place is so peaceful and quiet. It's just me and the empty streets as I make my way to my girlfriend's place.
The only way to be not afraid is to listen to a phonk song on Spotify. The Phonk song makes me brave!! I can feel my heart on fire if I listen to phonk songs. Btw it's not dark in the street because there are many street lights. I only wake up early because my girlfriend can't come with me unless I go get her.
WALKING TOGETHER
When I got to Prysgas on my way to see my girlfriend, it was really dark and super quiet. When I finally got to her house, I just waited for her to finish getting ready. When she was ready, we held hands and walked through the quiet streets together. It was still really dark outside, but we were both really excited about our adventure. We bought some bread for snacks and headed to the skina ocean, where our friends were waiting for us at the skina.
When we arrived at Savemore, we had to wait for our classmates to come before we could go to Magdok. We were just sitting there, feeling really tired and sleepy. Our classmates and Sir Mandal are at the Navales store, waiting for us too. I'm glad that my friends bring many doldol trees.
When my classmates are all together, we walked to Magdok, even though it was still dark and quiet. But we weren't scared because there were a lot of us. We had a great time chatting and telling jokes while we walked. We also listened to music and laughed a lot.
We reached Naalad on our way to Magdok, the road to Magdok is very steep. The sky was getting brighter, and I hoped we'd reach the top to see the beautiful sunrise.
My girlfriend and I went to a store and bought snacks like Richoco, cracklings, and Piattos, along with some water. Then, we rested for a bit because we were tired.
We're having so much fun taking pictures while walking. We played lots of games and enjoyed chatting together.
BEAUTIFUL VIEW
One of the coolest things about Magdok is the awesome views. Don't forget your camera because you'll want to capture every amazing moment. Magdok in Naalad has really pretty sights! From the top, you can see lots of green trees, the sea, and the island of Bohol. It's so beautiful, especially with the sunlight shining on everything. Whether you like hiking or just want to relax, Magdok Mountain is a great place to visit.
ARRIVED IN MAGDOK
When we arrived in Magdok, of course snapping some pics was crucial for our blog and memories. But before anything else, we took a rest in a small store. We felt the fresh air and admired the stunning view of the mountains. Our main mission though? The real purpose here is tree planting HAHAHAHAHAHA.
I started planting a doldol tree by digging a hole in the soil and putting the tree in. My classmates are also planting different kinds of trees alongside me.
ACTIVITY
We planted trees because Sir Mandal assigned us this activity to share on social media. It was worth attending the event in Magdok because I gained a lot of experience and made memories. I hope Sir Mandal gives us a high grade because it was tiring to go to Magdok HAHAHAHAHAHA.
SO WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO PLANT TREES?
Planting trees is super important because they do a bunch of cool stuff for the planet. Like, they suck up carbon dioxide, which is good because it helps stop climate change. And they make oxygen, which we need to breathe. Plus, trees give animals a place to live and food to eat, which keeps our ecosystems healthy. So, when we plant trees, we're making the world a better place for everyone.
BEFORE HEADING HOME
We had a videoke session with my classmates and Sir Mandal. Sir Mandal is a great singer, so it was embarrassing for me to sing with them. My classmates are also good singers, but I'm not, so I just sat there like a statue. We had a lot of fun singing (sabay² lng) and we bought some food from a small store. After singing, we headed home.

Mt. Magdok was such a beautiful scenery for me:> I always remember it when I was a in grade 11, my cousins and I are always going to that place every Saturday to hike.. such a scenery is it 👌🏻
