SOLUTIONS AND SUGGESTIONS
When issues border in discrimination in any disguise, there are obviously many ways to take care of it, though the issue is always lying on the implementation.
Below are some ways to take scare of it.
.
.
.
Affirmative Action
Affirmative action according to Wikipedia,
"refers to a set of policies and practices within a government or organization seeking to increase the representation of particular groups based on their gender, race, sexuality, creed or nationality in areas in which they are underrepresented such as education and employment"
This concept was birthed by John F. Kennedy, mainly to create a better job opportunity, stop racial discrimination etc, for the groups that have been ignored and discriminated for a long while, when he said
"take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, creed, color, or national origin"
It strongly made use of the quota system to mainstream the interest of the populace and by this, some people were given more opportunities to participate in many sphere of life.
For example, when girls had the early opportunity to go to school in Nigeria, a quota system of about 60:40 system was used, to make parents see the need and since then, there has been an encouragement for the parents. But for this not to spill into the discrimination, a limit must be placed!
Now, they can be used also to assert the right of these men or boys who undergo these and such will serve as a warrant for them to co-exist the rest of the society in harmony without discrimination.

Gender equality and equity
This concept seems to be a very large one as not everyone agrees to on of it.
Why equality speaks of same treatment with everyone, equity speaks of fair treatment for all at their separate levels of attainment.
Equality can be used as an instrument here, but the possibility still remains questionable, as it is obvious that not everyone is the same in the society is same and at such it would be a matter of ideality but with no hint of realism.
Equity, here can be seen to be trivial, and the word itself talks of opportunity to participate and maximization of one's strength. Equity tried to treat everyone fairly removing the elements of hardship and making it easy for all to fit, even though there is an another level.
Between the two concepts, I see equity as a better instrument here because, even though people might vary in likes and dislikes, classes and all, there will still be a middle ground where everyone is seen as a human that is worth living and not discriminated mainly because he is of a sexuality, or there is a random assumption that he has the incapability to show emotions.
Equity can be applied in divorce matters to make men take the less burden of paying alimony and with that, the blindfold that they always earn more will be disposed off. Also talk of custody, equity will come in to tell you that the man should be considered to have custody of the child as he can't be paying alimony and still have limited access to his children

Legislative enactments.
This is one of the strongest instruments, as it does not only provide for the action to be stopped but also includes a way out which may come in front of damages for a damaged reputation or punishment for that alright. This most times is strongly recommend to take care of it...

In conclusion, we have to keep in mind that we all can possibly bear that mission to hinder these from being effectual around us, by being instrument of the change we want to see.
