Hi everyone...
Water is a gift from God, water is also a source of life for humans, animals, and plants. Even though God gave it free, but if it was too much water it would not be good for us. Puddles of water in front of the house certainly look normal to our eyes, but if too much water like Tsunami waves, floods, and reservoirs burst, it will cause great panic for us certainly. The same as I feel and I will tell you in this post.
In the past, I have experienced a major event in my life, was hit by a Tsunami and was thrown and tossed around for about 2 hours in the tsunami rush. Feeling how enormous and terrifying it was for me, and likely nothing seemed to compare with it. But that's a theory, I experienced it not because I tried it but was forced to mee to be in that state. I am not to tell you my story when Tsunami comes and after. Enough for me in the past.
Well, this time I want to tell you about my experience some time ago when visited the Elo River located in Magelang Sungai Elo. Because I have experienced a big Tsunami, so I have nothing to worry about if invited to rafting on this river. But what I thought is wrong. There are many happy and tense stories from the first rafting time in my life.
When we used the safety equipment for rafting, I could hear the sound in this river so quiet, I had not seen the river, but from the sound of water in the river, I thought it was normal and there was no need to worry. After all, this is just playing on a boat and following the flow of this river. Safety equipment has also been installed properly. We started this rafting activity by praying and taking pictures together and then we walked towards the Elo river for 20 minutes.
When more close to the river is more clear the sound of this flowing water river, no turbulence, and no banging. I think this is still normal. Without hesitation, we board this rafting boat that took us slowly on this river. Then my comfort level began to be disturbed. The sound of the water in this river started getting louder and louder. I realized when through this river at the beginning, it must be an early stage and the water was still flowing calmly. But then, my hand started to hold the grip on this rafting boat tighter and tighter.
Here, our adrenaline begins to be tested, and how strong our hands are to hold and pedal it when needed. The safe stages have changed now, the rafting guide also starts giving signals to pedal left and right, pedaling backward to keep the boat from hitting something dangerous. His instructions signaled the current was getting stronger, the river sound roared, and I was beginning to be approaching concern. As if I was reminded of how I had to struggle to survive on the surface during the 2004 Tsunami in Aceh.
According to the rafting guide, this river is safe for beginners and the playing time is also quite long, for 2 hours you will be on the river path about 12 KM. The rafting equipment is also very good and safe, you don't have to worry about falling into the water, the rafting guide will quickly pull you out of the water, your buoy is also able to keep you on the water. All components in this rafting sport are very good until many people come to this place because of professionalism and guaranteed safety.
But when I saw some friends who were playing on the rafting boat, splashing water each other with using a paddle, some of them took selfies and asked to be captured when past the extreme currents. I started to enjoy it too and got rid of the worry a little. Some of my earlier expressions have been replaced with the courage to pedal harder in the strong current. It's true, being with brave people will make you are brave too.
After this you can definitely see how I and my friends and I laugh more and enjoy the swift current of the river, sometimes we actually push each other into the river then someone falls and we can help them and we get them back on the rafting boat. Really, the rafting trip is stressful but also very cheerful and happy. Some of the photos here show the situation. I am happy and feel a good sensation for my first rafting experience. Elo River dan Rafting is a wonderful moment. Thanks my friends for this experience.

Nice photos! That sure looks a lot of fun!
Was this before 2020? I ask because no wear is using those idiotic masks! 🤭
Hello, sir @trincowski,
This happened on October 24, 2020. Of course, before we came here we had PCR. You know, after this, 3 of my friends were exposed and now they're healthy. I think happiness boosts our immunity, well, that's how it goes. Stay in blessed sir.
It looks that you had a good and exiting time there.
