Hola amigos de HIVE
El 5 día dejamos la bella Italia atrás para entrar en Francia, concretamente visitamos Monaco y Montecarlos.
Para los que nos lo sepan, Mónaco es una ciudad-estado independiente en las costas de Francia, con lo cual es considerado como un país dentro de otro país con salida al mar.

The port of Monaco is very small and, as you can imagine, tremendously expensive for what the cruise ship left us with the Villefranche. A small town right next to it with the curiosity that it has a small port. You may ask, then how did you get to the town? Well, very easy, the ship dropped anchor in the middle of the sea and they brought us closer in boats of up to 20 or 30 people to the small port where we were able to disembark. It was an experience.
El puerto de Monaco es muy pequeño y como podéis suponer tremendamente caro por lo que el crucero nos dejó el Villefranche. Un pequeño pueblo justo al lado con la curiosidad de que tiene un pequeño puerto. Os preguntareis ¿Entonces como llegasteis al pueblo? Pues muy facil, el barco echó el ancla en mitad del mar y nos fueron acercando en unos botes hasta de 20 o 30 personas hasta el pequeño puerto donde pudimos desembarcar. Fue toda una experiencia.

Once on land we were picked up by a bus that took us to Monaco in less than 40 minutes.
Una vez en tierra nos recogió un autobús que nos llevó hasta Monaco en menos de 40 minutos de trayecto.

When we arrived in Monaco, they took us to see the residence of the princes of Monaco, they told us a little about the history of the royal house of Monaco and we arrived just at the time of the changing of the guard. They did a kind of show similar to the changing of the guard they do in the UK but much smaller.
Cuando llegamos a Mónaco nos llevaron a ver la residencia de los principes de Mónaco, nos contaron un poco la historia de la casa real de Mónaco y justo llegamos a la hora del cambio de guardia. Hicieron una especie de espectáculo parecido al cambio de guardia que hacen en Reino Unido pero mucho mas pequeño.

Right after, we got back on the bus and headed for Monte Carlo.
Montecarlo is a neighborhood of the Principality of Monaco as well as having two attractions, one is the Grand Casino of Montecarlo and the other is the famous urban racing circuit that hosts the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Justo después nos volvimos a montar en el autobús y salimos rumbo a Montecarlo.
Montecarlo es un barrio del Principado de Mónaco además de tener dos atractivos, uno es el Gran Casino de Montecarlo y el otro es el famoso circuito de carreras urbano que alberga el Gran Premio de Formula 1 de Mónaco.

The Montecarlo casino, in addition to being a casino, includes a theater, an opera house and a ballet house. El casino de Montecarlo además que ser casino incluye un Teatro, una ópera y una casa ballet. Como curiosidad os diré que los ciudadanos de Montecarlo tienen prohibido entrar en las salas de juego del país. El edificio es una maravilla por dentro, la decoración es bonita y sus paredes albergan obras de arte. A continuación voy a subir una batería de fotos para que veáis el interior.
This casino is a spectacle wherever you look at it. Visits can only be made during the morning, when the casino is closed to respect the privacy of the players, since important and famous people go there.
Este casino es un espectáculo mires por donde lo mires. Las visitas solo se pueden hacer durante la mañana que es cuando el casino está cerrado para respetar la privacidad de los jugadores ya que allí va gente importante y famosos.
Finally, we took a tour of the luxury shops near the casino and climbed to a high point in Monte Carlo to see the views of the port from above.
Por último dimos una vuelta por las tiendas de lujo que hay cerca del casino y subimos a un punto alto de Montecarlo para ver las vistas del puerto desde arriba.

Then the bus took us back to the ship and we finished the day, by the way when we got to the ship we had a surprise in bed. They had prepared a nice swan with towels for us. Of course we left a tip for the waitress for the detail.
Luego el autobús nos llevó de vuelta al barco y finalizamos el día, por cierto al llegar al barco teníamos una sorpresa en la cama. Nos habían preparado una bonito cisne con toallas. Por supuesto le dejamos una propina a la camarera por el detalle.
