Beautiful sunsets from the Pompidou Center and a sample of the art on display | Hermosas puestas de sol desde el Centro Pompidou y una muestra del arte en exhibición

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well, this time I am here to share one of my experiences, which I hope will be useful for your travels or to satisfy your curiosity.

If you are in Paris, and you love art and culture, you must visit the galleries of the Pompidou Center, and if you can go in the afternoon to have a beautiful view of the city and the sunset, you cannot miss visiting this place.

The Pompidou Center is a renowned cultural center located at Place Georges-Pompidou, in the city of Paris. In it, there are several floors and rooms for art shows, mostly modern art, a library, cafeterias, a restaurant, a movie theater, and other spaces.

I visited quite late this time, so I had to take a quick tour of the two floors that I had access to with the ticket I purchased (floors 5 and 6). However, there were other tickets available to access the 4th floor of the building, where there was a solo exhibition. The ticket I bought cost 15 euros.

I took many photos and videos, the first ones I will show will be the photos of the works that I liked the most, and others I will omit because there are so many.

At first, I liked the style of the building, and that in the square where it is located, you can also sit down to eat and hang out. It's a pretty friendly environment. To enter the building it is not necessary to pay admission, the ticket is purchased to access the rooms and galleries, however, there are floors and areas where the entrance is free, for example to the library, however, it is necessary to purchase an access ticket in the first floor.

After doing the fastest tour I've ever done inside a museum, I went out to the terrace on the 6th floor, and I found a very beautiful sunset and a fairly wide view of the city. Without a doubt, and because of how much I like sunsets, this was the part that I treasure the most.

Here you can see a map of the place and data on how to access it and which directions to take.

The lockers seemed very cool to me, you have to enter a password so that when you place it, the locker turns red. All sealed lockers turn red and available lockers remain green.

This was by far my favorite piece from the exhibition, I love fungus, and this was so big a beautifully done... it has two sides, one is fresh and colorful but slowly decomposing on the other.

This was a four-sided cubicle, a shop completely packed with cramped objects of many sizes, there was no free space, almost claustrophobic feeling.

This sculpture was a personal representation of the author, regarding the role of women in society and the weight that this gives her and her individuality. That is why it was composed of objects related to these concepts and roles, which in turn form not only the body of the woman but also a great wedding dress.

Interesting exhibit indeed! And wow, it's my first time seeing and reading about those kind of lockers. Hehe

Yeah! The sample is quite extensive, to be able to see it all, it takes at least two hours. Counting the rest of the building, you could spend almost a whole day there.

I loved the lockers, I hadn't seen ones like this either, they´re very aesthetic.

I love all the displays. Artists are so creative. I specially like that shop with crampled objects and the scuptures are amazing...

Totally, the photos that I´ve posted were of my favorite works and other interesting ones, but there are many more that I couldn´t show, some were immersive and you could enter them, however it´s better appreciated on video.

The sculptures are beautiful, and they were all very big!
Thank you for your comment and for appreciating art. ❤️
