Hello everyone. Last week me and my wife had the opportunity to visit a temple located in the among nature. We happened to see this temple on the way on Highway 107, Fang-Chiang Dao route. This temple is called Wat Tham Klaeb. The temple is in the among forests and mountains, Therefore this temple is a peaceful temple with beautiful nature. This is the reason we visit this temple. and want to share this temple with friends today.

Highway No.107 between Fang District and Chiang Dao District is a natural route. Most of the views along the way are forests and mountains. The road is quite winding. On this route, you will see beautiful natural views as well.

Natural view on the way on Highway No. 107, before reaching Wat Tham Klaeb.

When we arrived Wat Tham Klaeb, we will see the wall of the temple which is different from other temples in Thailand. I think the walls of this temple are similar to the ancient city walls of the past. It looked beautiful and strange. Area the wall, there is a name plate of the temple. The temple wall has no entrance arch. And area entrance to the temple on the left and right side is decorated with the pattern of angel stucco on the wall.

When we walk inside the temple, the area around the temple is mostly a garden with many trees. It looks very peaceful and shady, suitable as a temple for meditation retreat or sit and relax with nature.

This temple has only buddha image hall (viharn), no ordination hall (ubosot). Buddha image hall (viharn) is large and Lanna style buddha image hall (viharn).
Buddha image hall (viharn) is built of cement and painted white decorated with color gold Lanna stucco patterns. And the entrance staircase in style serpent is decorated with beautiful color gold stucco patterns as well.

The highlight of Wat Tham Klaeb is the cave inside the temple. Area front of the cave there is a cavity. Inside the cavity, there are many buddha images. In addition, there are wax figures of a buddhist saint.

The front of the entrance to the cave there is a statue of a buddhist saint.

The inside of the cave looks small and narrow. And inside there are stalactites, Buddha images and wax figures of a buddhist saint.

Other areas inside the temple have a bell tower made of wood, buddha statues, other buildings and monks' cloisters. In addition, other areas are also mountains too.

So Wat Tham Klaeb is another temple in Thailand that my wife and I like. Although there are not many beautiful architecture and sculptures like other temples. But we enjoy and relax with the natural beautiful that blends perfectly with the temple's architecture and sculptures.

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to watch and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
