As I and my family live in Las Pinas, Batangas has always been my family's favorite summer destination. Batangas had many resorts to offer with a good coastline, it is also away from the busy street and bustle city of metro manila. Last 2015 me and my family decided to go swimming and we found this resort on the internet with good upvotes and comments. So we came to this place called Punta Verde in Lobo, Malabrigo, Laiya Rd., Lobo, Batangas. PUNTA VERDE RESORT is a 3-5 hours travel from Las Pinas, it’s pretty far but the long travel was worth it.

Punta Verde is a resort that has a view of the skyline and the sea from its infinity pool at the top of a cliff. Punta Verde also offers beautiful natural scenery, luxury suites, and good privacy, also you can do adventure and camping. We stay there for 3 days and 2 nights.

Infinity Pool at the edge of the cliff overlooking the passage to Verde island (for your knowledge Verde Island is a volcanic island found in between the island of Luzon and Mindoro.

Its pool offers also a splendid view of the sky kissing the sea. Scenery for your summer OOTD and an Instagram-able place. This overlooking open area blows a cold breeze, especially at nighttime. The place was a kind of cozy at night. The good thing about this resort it caters to only a few guests. The reason it is not crowded. It is shown in the picture also that it is like we own the entire pool. I don't know when the time we came here is that the 2nd infinity pool is still under construction.

The resort also has the access to the beach, the Malabrigo beach is located at the foot of the resort.

Its beach alone gives a beautiful landscape, from the white-gray color of the sands and pebbles to the extraordinary rock formation.

Not only do you have to spend your time at the resort’s infinity pool but walking on the private beachfront, is one of the unforgettable experiences We did. I and my youngest daughter woke up as early as 6 in the morning to walk at the beach. As they say, walking on the shoreline and inhaling the salty beach air reduces the attack of asthma and also cures allergies and skin problems.

As I and my youngest daughter have this allergy and asthma thing. thank God now it is gone.

This is her first beach experienced

Walking on the shoreline also gives relaxation and reduces stress that's why I think people want to go to the beach to unwind and make themselves relax after the busy schedule of their work.

One of the things I like about this resort is the environment which is the nature here is well preserved, trees are everywhere in different kinds of variety, you can hear different birds chirping on the tree, and some animal sounds that I am not familiar with.

The pathway to the beach is made up of stones and cement and some bricks that connect all the villas and places around the resort.

There is also a short hanging bridge with a lookout tower that crosses the Punta Verde Access road. This bridge also connects the villas pathway.
Also one of the main attractions is their mini Museum, but unfortunately, it was closed at the time we visit there. I wish I could add a map of the resort but I doubt how many renovations they made since the time we came there.

We stayed at Narra hut if I'm not mistaken that is good for 2 adults and 2 kids. We have a view of the sea from the balcony.

LIGASONG LODGE

And my inlaws stayed at Ligasong lodge which is more spacious and bigger. But they don't have a view of the sea. It has also a wide balcony where you can breathe the cold and fresh air blowing and whispering from the trees surrounding it.

All rooms are air-conditioned and have wifi. You can also add an extra mattress if you need it.

All rooms are so cozy and privacy is very much stated. Privacy is very important for me, I don't like crowded places as I mentioned in my previous blogs that I am an introverted person.

I Think all resorts like this don’t allow to bring meals inside. But usually, we knew that they don't check everything and everyone's bags. So we decided to bring foods like adobo, boiled eggs which can stay longer and don't spoil instantly (Sorry for that).
Their restaurant serves also good meals at medium-rate prices. Our rooms also include breakfast so for the morning we are not worried about the meal. For lunch and dinner, you can eat at their open-air restaurant where you can view the infinity pool surrounded by its furnished sundeck.

After eating you can also rest on a hammock made from the native Rattan Palm which is hung under the shady tree.

And what can you ask more from a beautiful orb-like sunset slowly receding into the water that can view from the pool?

Malabrigo Lighthouse also known as Faro de Punta Malabrigo, was built and lit in 1896, it serves as a light guide for the ships passing the Verde Island Passage to either Batangas City or the Sibuyan Sea. This Lighthouse was considered one of the National Historic Landmarks in the country.
This Landmark also has been the site of filming for several movies and Teleserye (Television Shows).

SAINT JAMES THE GREATER STATUE in Ibaan River

The statue at the back was the statue of "Saint James the greater, built and serves as the welcome marker of barangay Catandala, Ibaan, Batangas, blessed and unveiled to the public, on July 25, 2012. This is the way to Catandal crossing on the Ibaan river. This narrow road connects the two barrios.
