Escaping from the chaos of Valencia, in Venezuela, without having to go so far away, is a desire I sometimes have. Corners like the Tazajal hill, are the perfect option.
I was there with a nice guy I met recently, with whom I talked about various topics such as his university career (mathematics), old friendships, and the local music scene.
In the meantime, we were going up and meeting other people going up or down the hill, from older youths to dogs, and cyclists.
And the fact is that Tazajal is ideal for extreme cycling. In fact, there are ramps made for pirouettes and more.
At the first stop, where we stayed, we contemplated the urban landscape, the one I had fled from that day, and the one that awaited me as soon as night fell.
I have been to this mountain many times, but not in order to take pictures, nor with the anxiety of escaping.
The mountain does not have a natural attraction like others in the city, but if you want to be quiet for a while, listen to the silence of the daily hustle and bustle.

Escapar del caos citadino, sin tener que ir tan lejos, es un deseo que tengo a veces. Rincones como el cerro de Tazajal, son la opción perfecta.
Estuve allí junto a un agradable tipo que conocí recientemente, con quién hablé de diversos temas como su carrera universitaria (matemáticas), viejas amistades, escena musical local, entre otros.
Mientras tanto, íbamos subiendo e íbamos encontrando a otras personas que subían o bajaban el cerro. Desde jóvenes mayores, perros, y ciclistas.
Y es que Tazajal es el ideal para el ciclismo extremo. De hecho, hay rampas hechas para hacer piruetas y de más.
Ya en la primera parada, dónde nos quedamos, contemplamos el paisaje urbano, aquel del que huí ese día, y el que me esperaba apenas cayera la noche.
He ido numerosas veces a este cerro, pero no en plan de tomar fotografías, ni menos con la ansiedad de escapar.
La montaña no tiene un atractivo natural como los de otras de la ciudad, pero si quieres estar un rato tranquilo, escuchando el silencio del ajetreo cotidiano.

Creo que la vista es genial, una belleza. Subir a una montaña y fotografiar la ciudad desde un punto estratégico en ella es espectacular. Me gustó leer que hay otras que son geniales, mucha belleza en este post.

Dos cosas quiero aclarar, porque son importantes. Tazajal, está en Naguanagua; una ciudad vecina de Valencia y San Diego... No queda en Valencia. Y sí, es un lugar maravilloso al borde las colinas características al otro lado de la cordillera en SD y la unión del norte de Valencia y Naguanagua. Ojo a ese dato.
