I've never done the Rhapsody ship but had done the Oasis and Allure a while back as well. I found Royal to have a good mix of people and ages on the boats that we've gone on but every boat is different and sailing out of different countries may make a difference as well. I think the crowd tends be be slightly younger on the newer ships. As long as you had fun and enjoyed it, that's all that matters. Good to hear that!
Yeah I already posted about the other destinations. They are somewhere in the "all posts" section
Ah ok! I'll have to look for the other places you visited! I tend to take photos with people in them and none with just the scenery or building. I have about 1000 photos from our trip, but I'm trying not too put too many on my posts about the cruise. 😂
Some other Americans on the cruise were also surprised that it was all in Spanish, and we really didn't meet that many from Panama. A lot were from Mexico, South America, etc. We did meet one couple from Italy too!
Is it typical to make friends with other people and stay in touch after the cruise? We didn't exchange info with anyone, but I did find some of the singers and I follow them on ig. Ha!
Yeah maybe because it sailed out of Panama. It's typically Americans any time I ever sail out of Ft Lauderdale. I've never made friends on a ship. I'm not that outgoing of a person and generally avoid trying to make conversation with others Lol
Ha! Very funny! We are pretty introverted, but we like to talk to people and learn their stories. We got a ride with the Italian couple we met, but we couldn't remember their names after the cruise. I also regularly saw a lady in the sauna room and gave her our information, but she hasn't connected with us! It's funny to get to know people for such a short time. A confined to one spot and one group of people kind of vacation...
Yeah there are some interesting people that you come across on these types of vacations.
