I love the torture museums too! You really get a glimpse into the horrible psyche of the middle ages when you see them. So little respect for life. It is quite chilling. At least we have advanced from that in many ways.

Yeah it's pretty crazy. Dan Carlins Hardcore History podcast did an episode on torture and how it was a public spectacle, the psychology and how it changed over time. I found it super interesting.

Same here. There are a tonne of Youtube vids going into some of the more bizarre and horrible things they did to people and it made you realise that things were rough back then and if you weren't rich or powerful then life was cheap and hard. Of course if you were rich and powerful you often had more of a chance of getting tortured for whatever reason!

Sounds like in the middle class was the place to be. Lol. That sweet spot to soar under the radar.
