Que disfrutan del mundo tal cual como es y logran disfrutar cada rincón de este nuestro maravilloso planeta tierra. Antes de comenzar me gustaría recomendarles que se pasaran a leer la primera parte de este diario “Ruta de un extranjero”. Pero no se preocupen, pueden leer esta sin necesidad de la anterior. Sin más antelación bienvenidos una vez mas a mi viaje, a mi sueño, a mi ruta de un extranjero.
Hello dear community @Haveyoubeenhere !, I know that like me you are lovers of trips and adventures. They enjoy the world as it is and they manage to enjoy every corner of this wonderful planet of ours. Before starting I would like to recommend you to read the first part of this diary "Route of an alien". But don't worry, you can read this one without the previous one. Without further ado, welcome once again to my journey, to my dream, to my route of an alien.
De niño tenemos muchos sueños, muchas cosas que queremos hacer y lograr cuando seamos adultos, el mío era salir a conocer el mundo, vivir nuevas experiencias y recorrer todos aquellos lugares que una vez me hicieron ilusión visitar. Pero a medida que vamos creciendo nuestras metas cambian, todo aquello que nos ilusionaba de pequeño evoluciona y muchas veces cambia, pero para mí no era el caso. Salir de mi país a vivir en otro era todo un sueño hecho realidad.
As a child we have many dreams, many things we want to do and achieve when we are adults. Mine was to go out and see the world, live new experiences and visit all those places I once looked forward to visiting. But as we grow up our goals change, everything that we were excited about as a child evolves and often changes, but for me this was not the case. Leaving my country to live in another one was a dream come true.
Como mencione en mi anterior entrada de este diario, al principio todo fue justo como me lo imaginaba, en mi mente solo había felicidad. Claro, también existía mucha nostalgia al dejar toda una vida atrás, pero ¡mi sueño se estaba haciendo realidad! Todo cambiaria ese día al pasar aquella puerta del aeropuerto, al entrar en aquel avión y al estar por fin en el aire rumbo a un destino nuevo y rumbo a un sueño.
As I mentioned in my previous entry in this journal, at first everything was just as I imagined it, in my mind there was only happiness. Of course, there was also a lot of nostalgia about leaving a lifetime behind, but my dream was coming true! Everything would change that day as I passed through that airport gate, got on that plane and was finally in the air on my way to a new destination and a dream.
Les cuento mi experiencia al salir de mi país porque aunque al principio todo fue perfecto, al principio todo era un sueño, al cabo de unos días todo cambio. Aquel niño que soñaba ya no era el mismo, aquel pequeño joven que se imaginó durante toda su infancia el como seria vivir afuera se desmorono al vivir la realidad de ser un extranjero.
Mi punto aquí no es desanimar a nadie a convertirse en extranjero, mi punto es reseñar y mostrar lo que en realidad es, todo aquello que sueñan lo van a lograr, pero no va a ser exactamente como lo pensaron, hay que luchar mucho, esforzarse y luchar por todo aquello que soñamos alguna vez.
I tell you my experience when I left my country because although at the beginning everything was perfect, at the beginning everything was a dream, after a few days everything changed. That little boy who dreamed was no longer the same, that little boy who imagined during his whole childhood what it would be like to live abroad fell apart when living the reality of being a foreigner.
My point here is not to discourage anyone from becoming a foreigner, my point is to review and show what it really is, all that they dream of will be achieved, but it will not be exactly as they thought, you have to fight hard, strive and fight for everything we ever dreamed.
Y aquí es donde quiero darles una reflexión a todos… Sigan sus sueños, no importa lo que las personas opinen sobre lo que en realidad quieres. No te desanimes por historias que leas o que te cuenten, vive tu experiencia. Y así como hoy estas leyendo mi historia y quizá pienses que te estoy desanimando, es todo lo contrario. Luchemos por todo lo que queremos, pero tenemos que tener en cuenta que nada es tan fácil como nos lo cuentan. Las transiciones son difíciles y cuestan. Pero recuerda siempre mirar a tu alrededor, saber dónde te encuentras y saber hasta donde puedes llegar.
And here is where I want to give you all a reflection... Follow your dreams, no matter what people think about what you really want. Don't be discouraged by stories you read or are told, live your experience. And just as you are reading my story today and perhaps you think I am discouraging you, it is quite the opposite. Let's fight for everything we want, but we have to keep in mind that nothing is as easy as we are told. Transitions are difficult and they cost. But remember to always look around, know where you are and know how far you can go.
No te apresures, todo lleva su tiempo.
