Self Introduction

Hello there, I hope that everything is fine. I'm really glad to join her, where I can share all my thoughts and share my daily life's story, this is my first self introduction including with my travel history. By the way, My name is Analyn Torejas Ledesma. I am 32 years old. I am currently residing at Liloy Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. I am married and have three lovable children. I have 2 boys and 1 girl. My current job is I am an ESL Teacher. I took up Bachelor of Elementary Education {BEED}.

During my spare time, I love singing, reading books, cooking some desserts, cooking food, and travelling is my best stress reliever.

"Before starting my own family, I worked as a saleswoman in various stores. After meeting and marrying my husband, we started our own family and had our first child. Three months after giving birth, I went back to work as a saleswoman. My husband, meanwhile, pursued his studies in criminology and graduated with a degree after four years. He then passed the board exam and completed his training, becoming a police officer. We later had two more children, making our family of five. Currently, I am working as an ESL teacher."

The biggest challenge I faced as a saleswoman was setting boundaries for myself. I often felt pressured to sell a lot, especially when I had targets to meet. Sometimes, I became too pushy with customers, which resulted in a bad experience for them.

I realized that it's important to have a balance between being hardworking and being patient. I should remember that not all customers are ready to buy, and that's okay. What matters is providing good service and showing genuine care for customers. This way, I can be more effective as a saleswoman and enjoy my work more.

Balancing being a saleswoman and a mother is a big challenge, but here are some tips that might help:

1. Prioritize:

  • Understand that your child is your top priority. Make time for them, even if it's just a little.
  • Set realistic expectations. You don't have to be perfect at everything.

2. Communication:

  • Talk to your spouse or partner about responsibilities and agree on a plan.
  • Talk to your children about your job and why you need to do it.

3. Seek Support:

  • Ask for help from your family or friends.
  • Join support groups for parents.

4. Self-Care:

  • Make time for yourself, even if it's just a little.
  • Eat nutritious food and exercise.

Performing Motherhood:

  • Give love and support: The most important thing is the love and support you give your children.
  • Set rules and boundaries: This will help with discipline and teaching them the right behavior.
  • Make time for bonding: Play, read books, or talk together.
  • Be a role model: Show your children the values you want them to learn.

Remember that motherhood is a journey, and it's not perfect. What matters is the love and support you give your children.
