Today I will take you for a walk with me to a favorite place in Plovdiv - the Rowing Base. Plovdiv is famous for many things, but definitely one emblem of the city that you should not miss is the rowing canal. It is no coincidence that all Plovdiv residents adore this place.
Днес ще ви заведа на разходка с мен до едно любимо място в Пловдив - Гребната база. Пловдив е известен с много неща, но определено една емблема на града, която не бива да изпускате е гребния канал. Не случайно всички пловдивчани обожават това място.
Last night I had a little more free time and one of my best friends and I decided to go for a walk. The base is a great place to spend free time during the day, but you will see for yourself how beautiful the evening is.
Снощи имах малко повече свободно време и с една от най-добрите ми приятелки решихме да се разходим. Базата е страхотно място за прекарване на свободното време и през деня, но сами ще се убедите колко красиво е вечер.
Of course, the base is also known for holding competitions. World and European rowing championships are often held here. And medals are regularly won by our competitors. Interesting, but there are even fishing competitions here. And even this weekend there is one. The canal is very large and the full circumference is almost 5 km. So get ready with energy if you want to go around the whole thing.
Разбира се, базата е известна и с провеждането на състезания. Често тук се състоят световни и европейски първенства по гребане. И редовно медали се печелят от наши състезатели. Интересно, но тук дори се провеждат състезания по риболов. И дори този уиекенд се състои едно такова. Каналът е много голям и пълната обиколка е почти 5 километра. Така че пригответе се с енергия, ако искате да обиколите целия.
The rowing base is a great place to spend some time with friends or to be alone with yourself. If you are a sports fan, you can ride a bike along the bike path or run while enjoying the great view. And if you get very tired, you can rest and have a drink in one of the small restaurants around. And in the evening the place is so beautiful and calm and really gives you the opportunity to relax and break away from stress and hectic daily life.
Гребната база е едно чудесно място, където да прекараш малко време с приятели или пък да останеш сам със себе си. Ако пък сте любители на спорта, може да покарате колело по велоалеята или да потичате, докато се наслаждавате на страхотната гледка. А пък ако се изморите много, може да починете и пийнете нещо в някое от малките заведения наоколо. А вечер мястото е толкова красиво и спокойно и ти дава наистина възможността да отдъхнеш и да се откъснеш от стреса и забързаното ежедневие.
I love going there. The place just energizes me and gives me peace of mind. And what better therapy for every problem than a good conversation with a good friend and a walk in the fresh air with an amazing view ...
Аз обожавам да ходя там. Мястото просто ме зарежда с енергия и дава спокойствие. И каква по-добра терапия за всеки проблем от хубав разговор с добър приятел и разходка на свеж въздух с невероятна гледка ...
At night, one of the most beautiful parts of the rowing base is the bridge located just above the middle of the canal. It is illuminated by lamps that change color from blue to purple to red. The flowing colors make the bridge noticeable from a great distance, and when you are close to it you are amazed by its beauty. And they definitely make great photos there.
Нощем една от най-красивите части на гребната база е мостът разположен точно над средата на канала. Осветява се от лампи, променящи цвета си от синьо, през лилаво и стигащи до червено. Преливащите цветове правят мостът забележим от доста голямо разстояние, а когато си близо до него оставаш изумен от красотата му. И определено стават страхотни снимки там.
When you go upstairs, you will see an even more beautiful view. The bridge is very well lit and when you cross it you can enjoy the whole canal, as well as parts of Plovdiv from above. And if you go during the day you can see the large and numerous fish that swim freely in the canal. You can't miss the many padlocks attached to the bridge. A number of couples in love lock padlocks with their initials on the bridge, believing that this way they will lock their love forever.
Когато се качите горе, ще видите една още по-красива гледка. Мостът е много добре осветен и когато минавате по него може да се насладите на целия канал, както и на части от Пловдив от високо. А ако минете през деня може да видите и големите и многобройни риби, които плуват свободно в канала. Няма как и да не забележите многото катинари закачени на моста. Редица влюбени двойки, заключват катинари с инициалите си на моста, вярвайки че така ще заключат любовта си завинаги.
I can't forget to share with you the amazing view from above. So beautiful and calm that you can stand and enjoy for hours ... If only we could have more time for such walks and moments.
Няма как да пропусна да споделя с вас и невероятната гледка отгоре. Толкова красиво и спокойно, че можеш да стоиш и да се наслаждаваш с часове ... Де да можеше да имаме повече време за такива разходки и моменти.
We only did half a lap because we didn't have much time, but next time we will catch up. Then we went for a nice dinner to end this great day.
Направихме само половин обиколка, защото нямахме много време, но другият път ще наваксаме. След това се отправихме за приятна вечеря, с която да завършим този страхотен ден.
