Wow, what a journey. I find it fascinating to read about in my comfy chair here in Southern California. I likely will never make that trip, and may never even set foot in Vietnam. My husband is making a fire in the fireplace, my kids are watching a movie on TV, and the Christmas tree is in front of me. Your life is so different, and those children in that faraway village live such a different life, but we are all in the human family. I love reading about things like this to learn more about what other people live like and experience. I like to teach this to my children. It is fascinating and I thank you for sharing a piece of your life. The pictures were a great glimpse into your journey.

I've felt the Christmas atmosphere where you live, and all the happiness you are having, I'm glad for that. There are places where it's still difficult, but everyone tries every day to make life easier. Should be better, happiness is sometimes the little thing.
