Hello Dear Hive Community, a few years ago I was on vacation in the state of Merida, Venezuela. Today I want to share my experience at Los Chorros de Milla Zoo and the pictures I was able to take.🦉📸
El Parque Zoológico Los Chorros de Milla fue creado en Octubre del año 1958, ubicado al noreste de la ciudad, ofrece diversidad de especies autóctonas de la región andina y de Venezuela en general como aves, mamíferos y reptiles. Está situado a 1850 msnm y cuenta con 10 hectáreas de terreno.
Antes de entrar al parque podemos disfrutar de tiendas que invitan a comprar artesanía de la zona, ya sea las populares muñecas de trapo, guantes, bufandas y pasamontañas para el frio o algún instrumento musical.
Los Chorros de Milla Zoo was created in October 1958, located northeast of the city, offers a diversity of native species of the Andean region and Venezuela in general, such as birds, mammals and reptiles. It is located at 1850 meters above sea level and has 10 hectares of land.
Before entering the park we can enjoy stores that invite you to buy local handicrafts, either the popular rag dolls, gloves, scarves and balaclavas for the cold or a musical instrument.
También logramos contemplar el monumento a la India Tibisay.
We also managed to contemplate the monument to Tibisay India.
Empezamos el recorrido y todo lo que se puede observar es hermoso, el contacto con la naturaleza te brinda una inmensa paz.
El clima de montaña hace la estadía más agradable, la temperatura promedio es de 18°C.
We started the tour and everything you can see is beautiful, the contact with nature gives you an immense peace.
The mountain climate makes the stay more pleasant, the average temperature is 18°C.
Asimismo, el rio Milla transita el parque y da inicio a 15 metros cascada y la mayor el de ellas recibe el nombre de Cascada Tibisay.
Likewise, the Milla River flows through the park and starts a 15-meter waterfall, the largest of which is called Cascada Tibisay (Tibisay Waterfall).
También disfrutamos de restaurantes, kioscos, área de picnic, músicos, lagunas artificiales, arbole frondosos y formaciones de arenisca y cuarzo.
We also enjoyed restaurants, kiosks, picnic area, musicians, artificial ponds, lush arbole and sandstone and quartz formations.
