Hi Hivers! How are you? It is so great to see you again today. I would like to take you to travel with me to Buon Ma Thuot, a city in Central Highland of Vietnam. It is a land of ethnic minority groups so I can see many new things in this trip.
I traveled to Buon Ma Thuot with my friends and it was a wonderful time with many memorable experience. We had good time together and we joked a lot. In this post I would like to show you two great highlights of this city.
Museum of Coffee
As a big fan of coffee and I drink different kinds of coffee. Although I know that drinking too much is not good for my skin but I can't hold my passion to this beverage.
Museum of Coffee is right in the center of Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province, Vietnam. It is on Nguyen Dinh Chieu street and it is not far from my hotel.
The museum is a combination of 5 arch houses which are inspired by typical communal house of Ede ethnic group in highland. The complex is surrounded by beautiful trees and green. Therefore, I felt so good with fresh air and the great atmosphere of the museum.
Inside the museum, history of coffee of the world are well presented via stories and artifacts. Coffee machines all over the world are exhibited here, along with traditional way of local Central Highlanders. This is me with traditional coffee brewery of local ethnic group. Can I open a coffee shop now? <3
Besides, many open spaces for different themes such as exhibition, library, conference, coffee enjoying are included in this large museum. I felt so new with this creative space and well maintained buildings. Moreover, the space of local ethnic culture is also very impressive.
Troh Bu Eco-tourism Site
Troh Bu Eco-tourism Site is about 14 km outside of city. It took me about 30 mins to get there. The way to get there is very beautiful and quiet. I love the green on the way. I was not surprised by the peace of Troh Bu when I arrived.
The entrance fee is so cheap, only $1,5 and I had so much good time here. It is in middle of forest so it is so nice with stream. This is a perfect place for girls like me, who love to have selfie and pose for photos.
There are many games for children as well but I felt I was little again to join these games. The cool weather but no rain helped me have wonderful trip in this area. Many statues and cultural designs of Ede, Raglay, Giarai ethnic groups are showed here to impress visitors of a traditional life of local people.
There are coffee shops and restaurants with local food. They are very good and it was a good time for me to try different food from a new land.
The trip to Buon Ma Thuot city is very memorable and I want to travel more to discover more about my country. There are too many new things waiting for me out there. Thank you so much for reading and see you in next posts.
