We have an ice skating rink down the street from our house, but it's usually only open for ice-skating practice and hockey games. My daughter seemed a little behind in her skating lessons, so we decided to visit the indoor ice skating rink in Montreal to give her some extra practice. The rink is located on the first floor of Le 1000 De La Gauchetiere, which is the tallest high-rise building in Montreal. This office building stands 51 stories high and is a prominent structure among the Montreal skyline. The rink is medium-sized and surrounded by various restaurants and a large glass dome above.
My daughter stands on her own while at lessons, but refuses to let go of my hand when I skate with her. Atrium Le 1000 has penguin trainers for kids, so she enjoyed skating with those while I had my hands free. Check out our photos below to see more of our ice skating adventure.

That's so cute! I never learned how to ice ski even though I loved the roller skates as a kid.
Thank you, I used to roller skate, too. I miss it! I've been thinking of teaching my daughter to roller skate.
Most of my childhood was spent on roller skates. So damn fun!

Hi! What a beautiful place and the photos very beautiful too. The idea of using the “penguin trainers” to make your daughter feel more confident and comfortable skating is great. It's exciting to see how kids are gaining confidence and skills in activities like ice skating.
Thank you, yes. we have basic trainers at the rink near us. But the penguins are so cute and make it so fun : )
That looks like a ton of fun. I never got to Ice Skate and haven't been to Quebec yet.
It's a little tricky at first, but so much fun : ) Quebec is a beautiful place. Montreal is such a unique city.
What a spectacular place for everyone and for our children!
Thank you for posting these images; they are beautiful.
I'm glad you enjoyed them very much.
Greetings from Venezuela, @littlepiggies
Greetings, thanks so much for reading and commenting : )
It's a great bonding! :) How was skating with free hands? Was it cold inside the skating room? I don't take the chance to skate wih the children last year in SM Seaside Cebu for the reason that it mught be colder inside.
