It's always a pleasure to read your travel posts and this one is no exception. Such an interesting insight into a very different country and culture. I can understand your concern when getting into a taxi and worrying if the taxi driver will take you on a merry go around, I often check the GPS position like you as well, so at least I have some idea where I'm going even if he kidnaps me!!! It is just like that! Hahaha paranoia is more usual than we think but it helps us to feel that we can take care of something at least while we don't have the security of controlling everything else.
How nice to know that some people recognize our contributions no matter how small they are, so thank you so much for taking a moment to read this blog.
I am still very excited and eager to continue sharing all the wonders I discovered on this trip, I love the idea of leaving a trace in time and being able to contrast with the experiences of other users in the same place but at different times.
