Hello Friend, today I take you with me to the peaks of the Sibillini Mountains National Park in the Marche Region where the autumn colors begin to be seen.
We are located between the towns of Castelsantangelo sul Nera and Bolognola in the province of Macerata.
I decided to go with my car to the highest parking lot in the area called "Pintura" to take a hike among these beautiful mountain areas among the cows and wild animals.

WILD COWS
From this area, by walking quite comfortable and not very dangerous, you can reach various peaks in the area, I decide to get to the top of "Monte Rotondo" after a walk of about 1 hour and 30 minutes, a fairly comfortable walk also suitable for not much train people.
We are 2100 meters above sea level

On the same day I decide to arrive at another mountain peak called "Pizzo Acuto" here we are at 2035 meters above sea level.

The view along these paths is beautiful in any season, obviously in winter we talk about another type of walks with another type of equipment, however it is always mountain and even being easy paths you must always be careful without ever underestimating the power and the unpredictability of nature.
I love these areas full of vegetation at this time of the year for their autumn colors, the landscapes are composed of meadows alternating with beautiful beech trees (but also other types of plants) that assume the classic autumn colors making the landscape beautiful !!!
Now it is getting evening, it is better that I get to my car quickly because I do not like to frequent these areas at night as it is the habitat of many wolves and other wild animals, I enjoy this last view at sunset.
In conclusion, I also tell you that these areas offer both shelters and villages with excellent restaurants or inns where you can eat typical dishes especially based on meat and vegetables.
One at a time I will let you know these countries better too ... and don't forget that in the mountains the weather can change quickly ... don't get caught unprepared!!😉
