The road, always close to the sea, accompanied us with its breeze and beauty. We sang and shared anecdotes as we advanced towards our destination. When we arrived in Carúpano, my boyfriend's aunt welcomed us in her house. Two charming and kind gentlemen, along with their pet Coco, a playful poodle, made us feel like family. After a pleasant dinner, we retired early to rest and prepare for the next day.

I woke up early on February 14, matching my makeup and outfit with the colors red and pink to celebrate the day. My boyfriend also joined in the festivities, matching his shirt with my outfit.

On our way back to Cumaná, we stopped at the local handicraft stores. There we found ornaments, hats and dolls typical of the area. Although I did not have the opportunity to visit the temples and museums I was interested in, I hope to do so on my next visit. All in all, this trip was enjoyable and full of special moments.
