Hello Pinmapple community! Here I am to tell you about my hikes that took place last summer in the Aosta Valley!
The Aosta Valley is my favourite Italian region, I love its peaks and its tranquillity, the mountains always give me a feeling of sacredness every time I climb them or walk along them.
Ciao community di Pinmapple! Eccomi a raccontarvi i miei trekking che hanno avuto luogo l'ultima estate passata in Valle D'Aosta!
La Valle d'Aosta è la mia regione italiana preferita, amo le sue vette e la sua tranquillità, le montagne mi trasmettono sempre un sentore di sacralità ogni volta che le scalo o le percorro nei sentieri.
I usually spend at least a week a year in these places, and this year I was in Val D'Ayas, a region in the Aosta Valley in which the Mount Rosa mountains stand out.
Di solito trascorro almeno una settimana all'anno in questi luoghi, e quest'anno sono stata in Val D'Ayas, una regione della Valle D'Aosta in cui svetta la catena montuosa del Monte Rosa
Our accommodation was located in Pracharbon, and from there we drove or took the bus to Saint Jacques, from where several trails and hikes in the Mount Rosa valley departed
Il nostro alloggio era situato a Pracharbon, e da lì con la macchina o con l'autobus arrivavamo fino a Saint Jacques da cui partivano diversi sentieri ed escursioni nella valle del Monte Rosa
There were many lakes we encountered at altitude, here are some photos I took.
Numerosi sono stati i laghi che abbiamo incontrato in quota, ecco qualche foto che ho scattato.
This particular one, seen from above, was heart-shaped!!!
Questo in particolare, visto dall'alto aveva una forma a cuore!!
I was able to see beautiful views, waterfalls and rushing torrents, such as those shown below.
Ho potuto vedere panorami bellissimi, cascate e torrenti impetuosi, come quelli mostrati di seguito
But my favourite hike, remains the one to the Blue Lake! The colours were truly enchanting.
Ma la mia escursione preferita, rimane quella effettuata al Lago Blu! I colori erano davvero incantevoli.
From the lake we climbed the ridge for a while, so we could also admire it from above!
Dal lago abbiamo risalito per un po' il crinale, e così abbiamo potuto ammirarlo anche dall'alto!
Mount Rosa and its glacier accompanied us on all our walks, in all their majesty!
Il monte Rosa e il suo ghiacciaio ci hanno accompagnati durante tutte le camminate, in tutta la loro maestosità!
And that's it, until the next trek!

Caspita che bel posto… andai da quelle parti d’inverno, ma sembra che anche d’estate quei posti abbiano un fascino esagerato. Molto belli quei laghetti con quell’acqua pulitissima. I complimenti per come è impostato il post. Meriterebbe una bella cura da parte del team di Pinmapple.

I know somebody who used to live in this region. She left more than 10 years ago but keeps talking about it and now I see why. The views are amazing! I love hiking and I'm sure I would enjoy this hike too!
