Panoramic alley "The Steps" in Razlog

in Worldmappin4 years ago (edited)

For my Name Day me and my girlfriend @gigiii went to a small resort town which is located near the Pirin mountain.
The name of this town is Razlog and it is famous with the amazing nature&mountain view and also with one of the best ski slopes in the Balkans/Eastern Europe.

Razlog is located 160 km from the capital Sofia and it is only 7km far away from Bansko, which is one of the most famous winter destinations in Europe. Actually it is a very popular ski resort.

I haven't been to Razlog before, but one of the things which got our attention was the fact that the prices were very low. For example one lunch (for the two of us) costs around 20-25 lv (10-15 euro) and the same food in Bansko would cost at least double this price.

It is definitely a place where you can go and to have some relaxing holiday. Of course you have to enjoy the Nature.

Today I will share one of the places in Razlog which really impressed me.
This place is the:

Panoramic alley "The Steps"

It is a pretty new place, which was officially built in 2015, but back in the time has it's own history. Before 108 years the bulgarian army destroyed the turkish enemies and liberated our nation from them. Nowadays people are going there to enjoy the beautiful view.

Actually you have to climb stairs about 20 minutes to go to the top. It is a little bit hard, but once you get to the middle you can enjoy the nice view.

This is how it looks like:

Once you reach the top, I am sure that you are going to be tired ;) That's why there you can find a few benchs to sit or even to lie-down. Just like what we did.

im

Of course, you can go there to practice exercises. That's what I meant to show you when Gigi took this picture of me.

im

For those who are not interested in doing exercises, there are opportunity to swing on a swing.

Gigi absolutely loved it.
One of the bad things which is happening in our country is that those type of social utilities like this wings are broken by some stupid people. Those were actually in very good shape.

From the swings to the Panoramic alley "The Steps" it's about 5 minutes walk... More you walk, more amazing views you see.. I felt really good when I saw the beautiful nature and the buildings..

That's me. As one of the most successful bulgarian athletes Dan Kolov says: "I feel strong because I am Bulgarian".

The panoramic view which you see from there it's absolutely awesome. Just take a look in it:

It is like a paradise.
When you climb into the Panoramic alley "The Steps" only God it's above you.
That's why you feeling so positive around there.

I have been to the Empire State Building and to The Rock as well. Everyone knows this place because they are in New York.
But nobody knows about the Razlog highest point ;) Even the bulgarians.

Of course when you are there you couldn't resist not to take a pictures. That's what Gigi and I did.

The problem it's when you are alone there.
It was very good luck for us that another couple also was there and Gigi asked them to took some pictures of them and after this they did the same for us.

i

It is pretty cool when you have a partner which loves the same things as you. Unfortunately Gigi don't like football, but for the other things we really think the same.. and we look in one direction 👫

im

We made a really good memories there.

I will remember my Name Day for a long time ...

The blue sky,
the green Nature
the buildings..

Of course every story have it's end. I wish everyone a really nice moments with closed persons.

Love is the air!

🔴Stay positive 🔴

This is such a nice place, definitely worth that climbing of stairs even though 20 minutes sounds like a good exercise :) I have never been to Bulgaria but recently saw quite a few nice pictures from the country which makes me want to put it on my travel list - well, after Corona of course :) Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for stopping by :) You should definitely put Bulgaria in your list - there a lot to see around here ;)

Lyubo
