I like everything colorful, unusual and national, so one day we went to Farsha Beach. The taxi driver we drove with every day recommended to us to come to Farsha Café before sunset. And we did exactly what he said.
We go down to the beach - as you already understand, there are rocks here, you need to go down. There is a hotel nearby; tourists staying there get to the beach for free. For locals - their own, reduced fee. We had to pay for the entrance to the beach. After paying the money, we went down the stairs and immediately took photos of the Farsha cafe.
The locals won't let you pass for free; they'll catch you on the stairs, take your money and show you where you can settle down, so to speak, they'll give you a place.
Farsha Beach looks very colorful due to the Farsha café located above it. During the day it looks like a dump of bright things, everything is thrown together - there are jugs, rugs, some furniture, doors... in general, it's strange, but atmospheric.
On the beach, the umbrellas are woven, they bend - excellent protection from the sun. Light music plays. I also liked that there are mini-pontoons, hammocks, chairs on which you can sit and wet your feet. Incredibly relaxing!
The beach strip here is very narrow. There are a lot of people who lie like sprats in a can, and this is undoubtedly a minus. Well, it is a very popular beach. The sun loungers here are worn out, the umbrellas are not the freshest, and for some people only mattresses are enough. But people still come here and are happy about it.
I heard that on the beach they don't allow you to eat or drink anything you bring with you, they chase you away. You can buy soft drinks, cocktails right there in the café... of course, everything is exorbitantly expensive.
The entrance to the sea is cleared of corals, colorful fish often swim up to the shore. We swam to a beautiful reef. I saw a lot of fish - you just swim like in an aquarium. Of course, you need to wear masks and snorkels - after all, we came to look at fish, right? There were bigger fishes around the corals. Besides that, there were a lot of shells, hedgehogs, all sorts of sponges and other inhabitants.
Overall, it is least to say that this beach is unusual and truly amazing. I don't feel sorry for the money at all, because it was beautiful there.
We could enter the sea both from the beach and also from the pontoon there. At the end of the pontoon there is a reef, there is magic there. But on the small coral islands closer to the shore you can see colorful wonders, just an aquarium, all the colors of the rainbow ... It was an incredible experience. I truly regret that we did not take pictures with phone underwater. Everything is there - and fish of different shapes, sizes and colors, and sea urchins, and stingrays. And corals - colorful fish houses.
You can order drinks, hookahs - this is the worst hookah I have ever bought in my life. We felt like they stuffed it with some kind of herbs. I highly do not recommend mint-orange.
Freshly squeezed orange juice and Egyptian tea - they are very tasty. Prices are above average - for water, hookah, juice, tea, coffee, service with tips, we paid 35 dollars. The guys tried very hard!
From the beach you can go up to the café of the same name, which is its continuation.
During the day, there are also incredibly cool views of the sea. At night, the café lights up with thousands of lights, and it's really cool there - Arabic chants, a moonlit path, lights. Romantic, in general. There are a lot of people. During the day, the café looks like a flea market. After dark, Farsha turns into an oriental fairy tale. The beach is open, but I would not advise swimming - poisonous fish swim up. There are 4 types of them in this region.
Music, lighting - everything takes you to the fairy-tale world of the East. The beach and café Farsha, a gorgeous entrance to the water - sand, corals nearby, lots of fish, atmospheric, unusual.
And there is also an observation deck. The views of the beach and the sea are stunning! As they say - worth a thousand words. I was ready to take endless photos there. You can see both the coral reef and small islands - a paradise for snorkelers. The color of the water is simply fantastic.
As you understand, the beach itself is mediocre. At night, it is decorated by a café. But the place itself, these views, these incredible seascapes, this fabulous underwater world - overshadow all possible shortcomings.
