Blue Hole Spring: The Mesmerizing Beauty of Nature
Have you ever heard of Blue Hole Spring? Are you planning to visit the place? Or simply wanted to explore it's beauty through my blog? This is the perfect blog for you. Blue Hole is a famous tourist spot in the north. It offers breathtaking and relaxing water for you to dip yourself in, perfect for any occasions with your family and friends.
How do I get there?
Blue Hole Spring is approximately 2-3 hours away from Cebu City via car. If you are from Cebu and want to commute, you can ride a bus at Cebu North Bus Terminal going to Tuburan with a fare amounting to Php. 120–160.00 or via van, which makes it less hassle, but the fare depends on your negotiation with the driver. The fare may vary depending on the type of transportation you are planning to have. Upon arrival to the Tuburan town proper, you can rent a motorcycle or habal-habal to take you to the Blue Hole Spring for only Php 100-Php 150.00, depending on your very good negotiation skills.
Upon arriving, this view will amaze you; the blue, clear, and crystaline waters will surely mesmerize your sight. It's stunning and natural attraction makes it perfect for people who seek adventure and want to relax and rest in the natural beauty of nature. If you are planning to have a quick escape from the buzzling city life, then Blue Hole Spring is the perfect spot for you. The best time to visit the spring is from December to May because during the dry season and sunny weather the waters are at their clearest.
Entrance fee
Prior to it's popularity, Blue Hole Spring was free for everyone, but recently, when we went there, we paid an entrance fee amounting to Php 10 per person. You can also rent cottages and swimming equipment like life vests and other floating devices. Entrance fee and cottage rents may vary; it's likely possible that the amount we paid may not be the same when you go there because we've been to Blue Hole Spring just last year.
The experience was indeed amazing. I enjoyed dipping myself in the cold blue waters of the spring together with my cousin and friends. It offers a refreshing swimming experience for adventure seekers and, at the same time, provides relaxation for people seeking tranquil places with natural backgrounds. You are a non-swimmer? No problem; it has shallow areas perfect for you and for kids. What are you waiting for?
