Olango Island far view.
Hi everyone! Please allow me to share with you our memorable experience in our first time visit to the island of Olango.
One day, together with my friends and with our families agreed to visit "Olango Island" this island is one of the tourist attraction here in Cebu, Philippines. A lot of local and foreign tourists visited the area. The place is suitable for family bonding, unwinding, and stress relieving. If you want to get away from the crowd of the city, this island is the right place to visit because of its province like ambiance.
In order to get there in the island, we need to ride a ferry boat around 20 minutes travel time. On board with my kids. Thanks God the weather was so calm.
When we get there along the side streets I saw this, which attracts me the name of this fruit according to the owner is a cranberry.
Most local tourists here were renting a bicycles as a mode of transportation in order to view the beautiful place in the area and roaming around the island. It was my first time riding a bicycle in longer time. I'm not good in riding it but I'm determined to do so because I want to watch and appreciate the beauty of the place.
We Arrived at our destination at San Vicente Marine Santuary. At the entrance part we had a short orientation by the receptionist informing us the do's and dont's and for safety precautions.
In order to reach in the swimming area. We need to cross the little bridge made of wood. It's 420 meters long and it's long enough really! Beside the bridge it's surrounded by many mangrove trees which adds the beauty of the place. Natural beauty of nature is so stress relieving too.
Then, in the middle part of the bridge was difficult for everyone to get through, because the bridge is floating on the water then every step we made it caused the bridge to swing. We need to hold into the side in order not to fall in the water. It's a bit scary and did extra careful every step to be safe. It's so challenging but so enjoying too.
The water was so clear and clean surely everyone here was enjoying. We saw also other group of person with their boats and having their island hopping. This is a marine sanctuary and we can find colorful fish in the water. They were not afraid to the people swimming in the same area.
We had a great day there and had a best bonding time with my kids, riding in a bicycle was one of our best moments.
Thank you very much for reading and viewing my post. I hope you like it.

Pagdating namin doon sa kahabaan ng mga side streets ay nakita ko ito, which attracts me the name of this fruit according to the owner is a cranberry.
420 meters ang haba nito and it's long enough talaga!
