The 50 Best Bars in North America is an annual award ceremony that celebrates the best bars in the region. The awards are voted on by a panel of over 260 experts, including bartenders, drinks writers, and industry insiders. The 2023 awards were held in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico on May 4, 2023.

#26 Kaito del Valle: Located in Mexico City Kaito del Valle is a Bar that Started as an Izakaya evolving to a Unique Bar.It’s all women Bar Team under the Lead of one of the Best Bartenders in Mexico, Claudia Cabrera create one-of-a-kind Japanese Cocktails that are Incredible in Presentation and of course Taste.All Cocktails contain Sake and Fernet which creates a stamp of the House for all Kaito Drinks.

#20 Hanky Panky: Welcome to Hanky Panky
Considered the 12th Best Bar in the World by the 50 Best Bars Ranking, this year they ranked as the 20th best bar in North America and will soon change their World ranking as well..Pass this Mexican Restaurant, head backstage and prepare to be transported to one of the Sexiest and most exclusive Bars in Mexico.Hanky Panky is considered to be the Ultimate Speakeasy Bar Experience in Mexico with amazing Cocktails and a fashionable atmosphere to have an amazing night. I highly recommend the Pornstar Martini: Vanilla Infused Vodka,Passion fruit liqueur, Lime Juice and simple Syrup. They serve it with a shot of prosecco to reduce some of the sweetness of this drink.
Celebrities like Dua Lipa have been to this Bar while visiting Mexico City.Hanky Panky was recently ranked as the 16th Best Bar in North America 2022

#16 Baltra Bar: Located in Condesa, Baltra was ranked for a second time as one of the Best Bars in North America, this bar also is also ranked as one of the Best Bars in the World. This tiny cozy place is one of the favorites from Members of the Bar Industry in Mexico and Drinks Are Amazing.
Price per cocktail: 200-250 MXN (9 to 12 USD)
#4 Limantour Bar: Since 2014 this bar has ranked as some of the Best Bars in the World and now its honored with the 4th Best Bar in North America. This Bar is famous for its legendary Margarita al Pastor that technically tastes like a taco but I promise you it doesn’t have any Meat, however they do make a taco mix with Cilantro and Pineapple that we as Mexicans think tastes like a Taco and of course Tequila. This Bar is simply incredible and is located in one of the hottest spots of Mexico City: La Roma. However this is one of the Bars that fill up very fast so reservations are highly recommended at least 2 weeks in advance.
#2 Handshake Speakeasy: This is considered the Best Bar in Mexico since it´s the Bar that ranked the highest in this competitive ranking.This Bar is incredible and a Must do for Cocktail Enthusiasts.Once you pass this Door with the #13 on it. Jump into a very exclusive and intimate venue with Great Gatsby vibes.I always say expect the unexpected with these fabulous Drinks
INTERESTING FACTS: This Bar opened in May 2021 and it only took them 8 months to Become the 25th Best Bar in the World.Expect to pay 200-300 MXN (10-15 USD) per drink.
