Su atracción principal es el Arco de la Amistad, que mide 29 metros de altura. Ese arco representa la hermandad de los pueblos, por eso su nombre.

La ambientación del parque es una estación ferroviaria, por lo que vas a encontrar vagones de tren en casi toda su extensión. Restaurantes, espacios para descansar, caminerias, todo es de un aspecto muy vintage. Y para mí, esa es su principal belleza.
The setting of the park is a
railroad station,so you will find train cars in almost all its extension. Restaurants, rest areas, walkways, everything has a veryvintage.Look to it, and for me,that is its main beauty.
Hay áreas específicas para que los niños puedan jugar y divertirse. Pintar y hacer arte. Lo que me parece una excelente iniciativa.
There are specific areas for children to play and have fun. Paint and make art. What I think is an excellent initiative.
La Estación Central. Ahí está ubicada el área de las taquillas, en tal caso que desees comprar boletos para subir al tren, o para subir a los botes. El tren da un recorrido alrededor de todo el parque. Te permite apreciar áreas donde el acceso a pie está restringido, y tiene un túnel que pasa por debajo del arco. ¡Es realmente espectacular!
The
Central Station.This is where the ticket office area is located, in case you wish to purchase tickets to board the train, or to ride the boats. The train takes a tour around the entire park. It allows you to see areas where access on foot is restricted, and has a tunnel that goes under the arch.It is truly spectacular!
Hay también un gran lago artificial, donde aparte de disfrutar alimentando a los patos, puedes navegar en botes de pedales. ¡Grandioso!
There is also a large artificial lake, where apart from enjoying feeding the ducks, you can navigate in pedal boats.

En su plazoleta está ubicado el Centro Cultural Augusto Leguia. En éste edificio se realizan exposiciones de arte, talleres, eventos culturales. También las parejas de enamorados vienen a casarse allí.

Los espacios verdes abundan en este maravilloso lugar, tiene puentes, pasadizos, hermosos arcos de vegetación, el Parque de la Amistad es un lugar verdaderamente familiar. Y lo mejor de todo: su acceso es gratis.
