The holiday to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr this year was very memorable, not only because the long holiday after 2 years in a row the Covid-19 pandemic thwarted everyone's plans not only for holidays but also thwarted direct family gatherings. And because of this long leave, we are using it for a vacation back to Aceh. and this time the Aceh we will explore is no longer the city of Banda Aceh, but South Aceh or Tapak Tuan or better known as the Dragon City.
And to start my first vacation in the City of Tapak Tuan, I will share and tell about our experience on vacation in this City. And on the first day of vacation here I will tell you about Pulo Dua Beach or in Indonesian it is called Pulau Dua beach. It is said Pulo Dua beach because on the mainland I stand we will see 2 islands that are next to each other. And we can cross these islands by paying a crossing fee of Rp. 50,000 per person. The facilities on the small island are lodging, restaurants and water games. but because time was not possible anymore, so we did not cross the islands and tell more about the fun that is on these small islands.
If you are going to visit Pulo Dua Beach, you should bring a box for fresh fish. And the best time to visit this beach is in the morning from 06.30 to 08.00 WIB. Because in the early hours of the morning you can buy fresh fish directly from the waiter who has just returned from fishing. Don't be surprised when you first visit this island, many people bring baskets of fish and scramble to approach the returning fishermen. Because these fish traders want to buy and get fresh fish at low prices and then can be resold to the public. However, it is not only fish traders who can buy fish directly from fishermen, visitors can also buy fish here directly. so that the principle of being quick can be very influential on the coast of Pulau Dua.
Because fishermen go back and forth without staying at sea. So that the fish on the Pulo du Aini beach are very fresh, some are even alive. So if you really have the intention to come to this beach, you have to be mentally prepared not to be hungry to buy any fresh fish, especially for mothers. If you are a visitor from out of town and you don't have grilling equipment, you can buy fresh fish on this beach and ask the nearest shop for help to cook it for a fee.
Not only the excitement of fresh fish and exotic views of Pulo Dua. On this coast, you can also see the shade of pine trees, so that it resembles a forest, and under these pine trees, visitors' benches have been neatly prepared to enjoy the beach atmosphere. So visitors at Pulo Dua beach can not only see how beautiful the two islands in front of them are, but also can enjoy the atmosphere of the sea breeze blowing slowly, like wooing you to fall asleep.
If you are at this beach, there is no entry fee, you can just order food and sit on the chair which you like. You can get one day at this place without having to spend a lot of money. Pulo Dua Beach is located on Jalan Tapak Tuan-Subusalam, at the end of Pulo Rayeuk. East Bakongan, South Aceh Regency. You have to come here directly to see its beauty, which I'm sure you will be more satisfied than just looking at my outdated camera. 😊
