Villa Colmenar
Summertime and people are now allowed to visit resorts to cool down. Let me take you to a resort located in Indang Cavite, Philippines. In this province, there are a lot of natural springs and rivers. Because of that natural resource, natural spring resorts have sprouted all over the province.
Come with us today to visit a Santorini-inspired resort in the Philippines.
Villa Colmenar is one of the most popular resorts in this province. Because of the blue and white theme, it has attracted visitors all over the province. The colors give a vibe that you are in Greece.
Near the entrance are a few reminders of the safety health protocols. Something that can be seen in all resorts and is part of our new normal.

Pavilion for 30-50 persons 1500 pesos ($28.69 usd)
These are the tables where you could set up and eat. We were ushered to the second floor as the first floor was already full. Here there were still a lot of tables available.
They have a grilling area just in case you would like to cook some grilled fish or pork belly. This area is set up on the third floor.
In case you would like to take a break from swimming they have a cafe on the third floor. Enjoy a cup of coffee overlooking the pool below.
At the kiddie pool area, they decorated the area with umbrellas. A nice decorative idea and at the same time gives a little sort of shade from the hot summer sun.
They have built the resort working around nature. They didn't cut the trees and I love it when establishments work with nature and limit the cutting of trees when they build something. It gives a natural vibe that adds beauty.
The water in the pool is all-natural, spring water flows thru the five pools of the resort. No chemical just all-natural water which is a gift from nature.
This is our first time visiting a swimming pool resort after almost two years. It seems like more people are coming in during this time and somehow I'm not used to a lot of people around anymore. But we need to adapt and just be aware of the protocols.
At the end of the last pool, you would see where the water overflows. They created a waterway that leads the back to the stream. The area is surrounded by trees and wild growth. I would love to explore the area but they locked the gate going down there. I guess it is for the safety of the visitors.
Here you could cool down more with a cone of ice cream. There is an ice cream vendor just near the entrance. These types of ice cream vendors are common here in the Philippines. Usually, there are three flavors, the vendor had cheese, vanilla and chocolate. You could choose a combination of all three flavors or just one flavor.
Your visit here would not be complete unless you do a family photo shoot in front of the resort. They have set up a table here with bean bags to get that nice family portrait.
All good things come to an end but we had a great time here at Villa Colmenar. We loved the theme of the resort and the natural spring water was great. We may not be able to visit Santorini but this was a great experience.
Thank you for joining us today and hope to see you again on our next summer adventure.
Live life, love and always stay safe.
