Hello Everyone,
Today I am coming with my unique content about the most horrible experienced trip. The only warm water urinal in Bangladesh, where even fire burns in the water. Not only that, there is a place where the milk becomes yoghurt as soon as it falls. There are all the temples that are hundreds of years old. There are jhiri paths, hills and springs. I was talking about Barbakund Trail. Just a few days ago I came back from Barbakund Trail. Although I was lucky enough to survive at the hands of Harkaban. Today I will tell that story.
Wherever you go in a long lockdown. When the lockdown went up, I could no longer keep myself locked in the house. Suddenly I got off the plan. On the way to Barbakund. 5 minutes walk from Barbakund market. Peachdhala end of the road, the beginning of the mountain path! The gentle muddy path has gone through the heart of the hilly forest. As soon as you start walking along the path The surrounding hills become higher and higher, the forest becomes denser and the silence grows louder and louder. The call of a different kind of unknown nature grows in the mountains. The cries of insects like the sound of cutting a dry tree with a saw. All the unfamiliar birds call strangely beautiful. And the sound of the twisting of the dry leaves on the soles of the feet. Although it is monotonous with the sound of rain. And in the middle of the path, there are hundreds of unnamed mountain flowers with hundreds of jhumko jaba.
At the end of this path, which flows through the heart of the deep mountain, one suddenly sees a stream flowing in the rain, running at a restless speed. Observing the condition of the surroundings of Jhiripath, it is understood that every Jhiripath gets full youth in every monsoon and the stems of big trees are swept away in glory and a storm rises in the mountains! If you leave Jhiri and walk a few steps, you will see a round hill. Name its Karakhamba hill. As soon as you cross the Jhiripath Buck and go a little further, you can see who has built a stairway on a medium-high hill and made a way to go up.
As soon as you go up the stairs, you see a strange installation. How many temples are about a few hundred years old. The walls of the dilapidated temple, which have a long history of many years, look like bricks and mortar, suggesting that it is about 300-400 years old. Its construction style is somewhat similar to that of the Mughals. The old temples inside this deep hill seem to have given birth to a strange form and a terrifying environment. That's terribly beautiful.
There are many other temples including Agnikund, Radhakrishna, Kalbhairav. This uninhabited hilly place is perhaps the true example of the creepy environment. When you go down the stairs of the two-storey fireplace temple, you can see the fire burning under the ground. There is only one well here. But there are two kinds of water on both sides. The water on one side is constantly dripping and quite cold. The fire is blazing with the water on the other side. It is difficult to stand near because of the heat. But if you take that water in your hand, the heat of the fire will not be felt. Surprisingly, many also have fun again.
For the followers of traditional religions, this fireplace of Barbakund Tirtha Tham is a very sacred place. According to them, bathing in this water miraculously increases the chances of bathing in the Ganges. But most people are shocked to hear the conventional myths. The fireplace is located right next to the hundreds of years old Kalbhairavi temple on the Barbakund trail. According to many, it is more than a thousand years old. But looking for the cause of the fire in the water of this well, there are many answers. According to many it is a cursed well, some say it is a natural cause.
The most popular rumor about the place is that in ancient times, male sacrifices were made for the gods and goddesses. One day a fire broke out here. It was created by the gods to prevent human sacrifice. Despite many efforts, the fire could not be extinguished. For ages it has been like the face of a dead volcano; From which fire is always coming out. According to Hindus, it is a religious blessing. According to the priest who takes care of this temple though it is one of the 51 Satipitas or Shakti Pitas. Many may wonder what is Sati Pith or Shakti Pith. Parvati was originally the first wife of the god Shiva. When Parvati's father insulted the god Shiva, Parvati left the body in anger and grief at her husband's insult. Angered by his wife's death, Shiva started dancing with his body. At that time, when the world was about to be destroyed in her doom dance, at the request of all the gods, Vishnu, the guardian of the world, dismembered Parvati's body with his handsome chakra. Originally divided into 51 parts, the body was later found in 51 places around the world. And those 51 wearing places became 51 power backs. This fireplace may not really be Sati Pith. Because according to the conventional opinion, the Sati Pit of this region is the temple built on the Chandranath hill in Sitakunda. Where is Parvati's right hand.
Kamrupkamaksha temple is famous for its magic and mantra tantra and but a sati back. And I came back with a detailed vlog. Which is also one of the 51 sati backs. And there is Swati's Johnny. And basically Tari is worshiped there. You can take a look at the vlog from time to time.
Dadhi Bhairab is located under the tamarind tree next to the stairs leading to the Barbakund temple (there is no tamarind tree at present). It is a spherical rock. There is a hole in the top of it where the milk turns into curd instantly. This is why it is called Dadhi Bhairab.
After seeing the famous fireplace, I went out to see the fountain. There are basically 3 fountains in this trail. After descending from the gate of the temple, you will find a khum on the left hand side. You will get the rest of the fountains along the Jhiripath. Especially talking about the last shower, it is very important to have patience to go there. After watching it, I hope your body will get rid of the fatigue of the whole day.
As Jhiri walks along, I talk about the science of the famous fireplace. As far as is known, British methane gas was found on this Karakhamba hill. For some reason at that time the mouth of the gas well was closed with lead. Since then, fire has been burning in the water of the fire pit here. Whether it's scientific or conventional, I can't wait to see what happens when you stand by it! It will feel like you are standing in a cursed place.
How to go
As I walk along the waterfall, I tell you how to get here. Many people don't go here because the Barbakund Trail is unfamiliar, but this trail is a good place to ride. The easiest way to get here is to take a bus from Dhaka to Chittagong. Get off the bus near Barbakund station. From there, it is only a 5-6 minute walk to cross the paved path and start the trekking hill. There are some light quality hotels in Barbakund Bazar where you can have breakfast or lunch. On return you can return by bus or train from Chittagong. From Barbakund Bazar, you can reach Alangkar Mor bus stand by car No. 16 for 40-50 Taka.
Description of the way
Leeches can be spotted along this trekking route so take salt or mustard oil with you. The hills are slippery rocky paths but the surrounding hills are not rocky. Be careful even if it looks like a stone. A little pressure but the soil of the mountain after the collapse. Although it is a relatively easy path, it is a kind of scary path in the rainy season. Those who travel in the mountains know that the mountains are as beautiful as they are dangerous. Mountain ridges can become a death trap at any time. In the rainy season, landslides are not the only danger. As soon as it starts raining in the mountains, a lot of water can flow down at high speed. Bolda of large stones, and the tree floats up to the turn. Small khum and fountains on the mountain road are also dangerous. The idea of depth along slippery paths often goes wrong here. One thing to keep in mind is that even a little knee-deep water in a mountain can bring danger. And so please, don't come to the mountains and Jhiri at least in the rainy season without adequate preparation.
I always say about the mountains, the mountains are beautiful, the mountains are terrible. On this trip we also got to see the horrible look of the mountains. I myself got stuck while trying to save someone who was trapped in Harkaban with the landslide. You can see the vlog given in the link above. If I didn't know then I would show this video at all.
However, please refrain from doing anything that harms nature and the environment.
