Hi all...
how are you today? I hope you are always healthy and enthusiastic to carry out every activity :)
I want to share a little story about Sadeng Beach which I visited some time ago. I happened to be returning to my hometown to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. coincidentally my office is closed so this is my chance to be able to visit my family in the village. My hometown is Yogyakarta, more precisely in the Gunungkidul area.
Gunungkidul is an area rich with hills, beaches and quite a lot of interesting tourist attractions to visit. one of them is Sadeng Beach.
Actually Sadeng Beach is a fishing port. So don't be surprised if many people come to Sadeng Beach to buy fish because it is certain that the fish is still fresh and indeed there is a fish market place. My mother always goes there to buy fish. besides being cheap, the fish there is still fresh. Even though there is a fishing port there, not a few visitors also come for a vacation at Sadeng Beach. there are very many visitors. some are swimming, some are playing in the sand, some are taking selfies, some are fishing.
fishing there is free.
lots of boats parked. Honestly, I used to often go to Sadeng Beach with my friends when I was in school. Coincidentally, the father of one of my friends is a fisherman on this Sadeng beach. every time we come here, we are always free entrance to the beach. actually the entrance ticket costs only 3000 thousand rupiah, but first we were given free.
There are also many food and beverage vendors here.
and I'm interested in buying the grilled meatballs that have been teasing me ever since I came. the price is 2000 thousand rupiah per tusuk. I happen to be a little hungry. good enough to fill an empty stomach.
Here I also enjoy the afternoon while enjoying the sunset. the air in the afternoon is pretty good. the wind that blows. the sound of the boat swaying because of the sea water. I feel like I'm lost in the beauty of the afternoon on the beach. maybe because I've been in the capital for a long time, which is full of busy work and air pollution. I began to think I wanted to quickly move to the village and settle in the village. because after all I'm still a Yogyakarta. no matter how far I go, I will always return to my hometown.can get together with my family and maybe I can go to the beach every day to enjoy its beauty. considering the beach is not far from my house.
short story about south coast
Sadeng beach including the south coast. which according to legend is also inhabited by the queen of Nyai Roro Kidul. You can believe it or not, if you want to go to the south beach, don't wear green clothes which are said to be forbidden because Queen Nyai Roro Kidul likes it. some time ago I also received news that there were 3 people who were swept away by the ocean waves and lost on the south coast. so if you want to swim and play on the beach don't forget to pray and be extra careful
