Hello everyone, today I would like to greet everyone with another interesting place in Barcelona, Spain. This time, I would like to greet everyone with the Torre Glories building, formerly known as Torre Agbar, a skyscraper located near Placa de les Glories Catalnes in the Sant Marti district of Barcelona.

The Torre Glories building was designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel, inspired by the prominent peaks of Monserrat, which surround Barcelona, and the shape of the hot springs that rise into the sky. It has an area of over 300,003 square meters of office space, the rest of which is a technical installation area, various services, and a conference hall.

The height of the building, Torre Glories building, is 144 meters, with a total of 38 floors, the fourth floor is underground. This building is the third tallest building in the city. The highlight of this building is the Akbar Tower, which is a lighting device using LEDD technology to illuminate the entire surface of the building and has an external temperature sensor that controls the opening and closing of the glass windows, which helps save energy for air conditioning. This building was officially opened on September 16, 2005 as one of the projects to improve the area around Placa de les Glories Catalnes.

I saw this building while walking around the area. Actually, I had seen it before from a distance, not so close. Looking from a distance, it is still a clearly visible building with a strange shape, different from other buildings. The color of the building is a striking blue, so I had to take a picture with my phone. It is hard to see. We walked around Placa de les Glories Catalnes, a public park. People came to do activities, walk, run, exercise, and see the city. There was a tram passing by and there was construction on the side.

And this is the atmosphere around Torre Glories that we spent time walking around that area. The atmosphere was quite cold, but as we walked further, we felt warm. We saw a different atmosphere, a place that we had never seen before. It was a small moment that we got to share with everyone. It is not only the beauty of the Torre Glories building, but it was built with meaning. And for me I like to see the outstanding things. Another place in Barcelona, Spain I hope you all like and enjoy my post. Thanks for following. Have a nice day.

Happy to read your story:)

Thank you 😊

your post made me curious and I discovered that this tower was designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel. Maybe it is more beautiful in person. I admit that I don't like it very much. Thank you so much for this nice post !PGM

Yes, when I saw it that makes me want to know also

The building, the infrastructure is looking amazing but I was curious about what is inside and how it looks from inside but you didn't post or didn't capture anything inside, by the way the place is amazing.

Sorry , I didn’t go inside the building on the caption I said stroll around the area. So I can’t explain the details what’s look like.
