Introduction to Kasadya Resort
Located in the tranquil municipality of Compostela, Kasadya Resort is a fun and easily accessible place for a dip. This resort was previously known as Planet Beach. However, it recently changed its name to Kasadya, which means joy or merriment.
True to its name, Kasadya is perfect for an instant getaway. It's especially suitable for those who want to swim on a budget in the blue sea and the cozy pool!
Location
Kasadya Resort is located at the Central Nautical Highway, Compostela Cebu. It's conveniently located along the main road, making it accessible to public and private transportation.
In addition, it's near to a few local facilities. For those traveling long distances, there's a nearby Shell gasoline station just a few minutes walk away from the resort. Besides the resort, Waboo Beach and Resto Bar are for food and nightlife enthusiasts. If you're longing to enjoy local delicacies, there is Lantaw Restaurant.
Facilities and Amenities
Kasadya is relatively tiny compared to other resorts. Still, the space is maximized to offer a cozy experience for the visitors. It's committed to ensuring every visitor experiences joy in this place.
The resort features a pool surrounded by various plants and a few trees. It's perfect for taking a dip or relaxing with family and friends on the water. You can also enjoy the slide and plunge right after!
While the place is small, it offers ample parking space for visitors. Additionally, there are plenty of rooms for overnight stays. If you're on a tight schedule, rooms for hourly stays are also available.
There are cottages available for celebrating special events like birthdays or simply bonding. If ample space is needed for the event, there are function halls for events located next to the pool.
And last but not the least is the sea! You can enjoy the picturesque view of the ocean nearby. You can also swim if you'd like. The resort truly lives up to its name, Kasadya.
Personal Experience
What I truly appreciated about Kasadya Resort was its convenient location. Since it was right along the highway, it was easy for public commuters to access, unlike some resorts, which needed private transportation. Moreover, I liked having both a pool and the seaside in one place. It's nice to have options when choosing a place to swim.
My most recent visit to Kasadya Resort was during our church's year-end party, and it turned out to be a memorable celebration. The place was perfect for events hosting a large group. We were able to play various games. Everyone had so much fun, though we were pretty troubled by the weather. The atmosphere was chilly because of the rain. We had to endure the strong breeze since the function hall was open. Fortunately, we didn't let the weather spoil our fun!

I don't know if this sounds weird, but I've always loved the beach, especially when it's cloudy or its about to rain. It feels like the end of the world (it's not like i wanted to) you have to look at everything and remember it all because there's no more tomorrow.
The waves are really huge but while it's frightening, it's truly beautiful. I also love the rain when I'm on the beach but I can't quite endure the cold, hehe <3
