Sea Activities
The resort is an ideal place for swimming and snorkeling. Travelers can hop on their swimming rings and enjoy the cold waves drenching their bodies. In addition, they can explore the coral reefs and diverse marine life.
You can also approach the locals and rent a boat if you enjoy leisurely water activities. You can either row the boat yourself or have the locals row the boat while you enjoy the ocean's scenery.
Land-Based Activities
If you prefer to stay on land, various cottages are available at the resort. Since Maravillosa is a public beach, the cottages are owned by different people, and the price varies.
In addition, you can try beachcombing at the beach! It's a relaxing activity collecting beautiful seashells and unique stones. You can make bracelets, necklaces, or other jewelry with your collection.
And don't forget your Vitamin D! Lie in the smooth and fine white sands and expose yourself to the scorching sun. And while you are basking under the heat, have a refreshing drink! Stores are available on the beaches for food and beverages.
You can also make your own sand castles out of the fine sand on the beach.
Some locals rent tents to travelers for an overnight stay on the beach. Of course, you can also bring your own tent.
Location
Maravillosa Public Beach Resort is 103 kilometers from Cebu City. It's easily accessible by both private and public transportation. If you want to commute, go to the North Bus Terminal, where buses are bound for Tabuelan. If you have arrived at Tabuelan, take a motorcycle taxi, which will take you directly to the beach. The beach is quite a few miles from Antonio De Pio National Highway.
A Tropical Escape Awaits
December in the Philippines has excellent weather. Most of the time, the days are sunny but not too humid if it's not rainy. In addition, it's a school vacation, so there are numerous days to enjoy the holidays with your family! My cousin and I felt bored staying at home with nothing to do. We have already visited most of the beaches in Compostela and Danao. Also, we were yearning for white sand beaches and decided that Maravillosa would be the perfect tropical paradise to experience!
And we were not wrong. We donned bathing suits to enjoy the sea! We left our own footprints on the sand and took Instagram-worthy shots.
Maravillosa is truly a memorable place. I'd love to go back here again.
