RE: Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, Lapland in Winter and Autumn

Great postโ— Reading it made me relive my memories of when we visited Rovaniemi at Christmas time a few years ago. At the time, I told Santa that I was glad to have met him in person ๐Ÿ˜‹

Oha you have also been there once in the village? And how did you like it otherwise? For children it is of course something special:)

Yes, we were there for Christmas in 2017. To be honest, I was the least fascinated by Santa's Village, but it was definitely unforgettable ๐Ÿ‘. My son will certainly not forget it, even though he was a young boy. Finland (Lapland) itself is a top destination. We stayed in Rovaniemi, we went on a reindeer and husky ride which was great. The nature itself is amazing and the vibe of the city was so relaxed and different from here, everything was so calm. My only regret is that we didn't get to see the northern lights, so I have an excuse to go back again ๐Ÿ˜‰. When we were there, we looked at the brochures about the summer time and decided that we should definitely go back, even though there would't be the northern lights. They also have an excellent Napuas gin and Havhalla liqueur, I believe you tried them ๐Ÿ˜‹ More you can see here. Have a nice weekend! ๐Ÿ’š

Oh wow, then it's been a long time since you were there. Everything was really so quiet, I had to get used to Cologne again haha. Of course, it's a completely different experience for children! :) In the summer it's so beautiful there, I can only recommend it. Oh, I would like to post a husky tour soon as well, how great that you did it too! You'll have better luck with the northern lights next time :)
I will defintly have a look!
Greetings and have a good start into the week!<3

Thanks, the same to you!
